Zankou Arrives in NTE: Neverness to Everness Version 1.3
NTE: Neverness to Everness Version 1.3, "Rising from the Moonlit Fog," launched on August 19, 2026 following maintenance from 06:00 to 11:00 UTC+8. The update introduces Zankou, a new limited S-Class character available on the Alluring Shadows board until September 9, and brings back Nanally on a separate limited board for the same window. New content includes the Duskmoor region, a main story episode titled "Fogden Game," and five summer events running through September 30.

New Characters and Banners
Two limited S-Class characters are available in Version 1.3. Zankou is the new character this version, available on the Alluring Shadows banner from August 19 through September 9, 05:59 UTC+8. Her banner includes A-Class characters Mint, Edgar, and Adler, a limited outfit named "Autumn Vignette," and the vehicle livery "Sandy Mirage Sirocco." Unlocking the required bond level with Zankou opens a "Home Time" invitation mode featuring her.
Nanally returns on the separate Ichi-daime banner for the same window, August 19 through September 9. Her banner includes the limited outfit "Phoenix Kick" and the vehicle livery "Tiger Incoming!" Two new limited S-Class Arcs are tied to this version: "Ravenous Blade" for Zankou and "Ready-Ready" for Nanally.
New Region: Duskmoor
Version 1.3 adds Duskmoor as a new location in the open world. The area includes Starfall Bay Resort, the open waters of Tearlake, and coastal natural scenery. Six new Anomaly Commissions are available in Duskmoor for players to complete as part of regular progression.
New Story Episode
A new main episode, "Fogden Game," continues the main storyline. The episode follows plans by a group called "The Scarlet Letter" involving a game mechanic, and tracks an alliance of uninvited guests working to take down "Madam T."

Five summer events run from August 19 through September 30:
- Volley Star: A volleyball-themed activity added to Hethereau Hobbies
- Surf Breaker: Racing challenges
- Hunter's Crucible: Challenge stages featuring Mammon and Morphix
- Lucent Tides Mystery Box: Features the limited watercraft "Tide"
- Shipwreck Salvage: A collection-based event beginning August 28
System and Feature Updates
Several systems changed with this version. City Stamina consumption doubles at Tycoon Level 16, and farm produce can now be sold by spending City Stamina. Photo Mode is usable while driving or swimming, and character sharing is now enabled on Bagel SNS. A new Outfit Rotation feature selects a random equipped outfit on login.
The "Going, Going, Gone!" activity was redesigned with seasonal leaderboards, new venue conditions, and 20 new collectibles. The Witch's House level cap was raised to 15. A Gauntlet of Valor mode was added to 999 Nights.
Maintenance Compensation
Players received Annulith x300 for the maintenance window and a further Annulith x300 for bug fixes applied after the update launched.
