NTE: Neverness to Everness

NTE: Neverness to Everness is Hotta Studio's free-to-play supernatural urban open-world RPG — players investigate Anomalies, fight with character teams, drive across Hethereau and build an urban life. It has been out on PC, PlayStation 5, iPhone, iPad, Android and Mac since April 29, 2026, with Steam, Epic and Samsung storefronts added in July.

Latest update

Perfect World Games launched Version 1.2.0, 999 Nights, on July 8, 2026. It adds Shinku, the Blushing Mirage Arc, the Fighting with a Dragon story and Warren Continent, while the same rollout brought NTE to Steam, Epic Games Store and Samsung Galaxy Store; the Shinku board runs until July 29 at 05:59 UTC+8 and the wider version events continue through August 19.

Release date and status

Perfect World Games released NTE globally on April 29, 2026 for its original PC, PlayStation, mobile and Mac platforms. Steam followed on July 7, with Epic Games Store and Samsung Galaxy Store joining on July 8, and every current storefront receives the same live-service content.

Platforms and availability

The released version covers the official Windows launcher, Steam, Epic Games Store, Google Play Games on PC, iPhone, iPad, Android through Google Play and Samsung Galaxy Store, Mac, PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 5 Pro. Progress syncs when the same linked account and server are used, but regional servers and separately registered third-party logins do not share data.

Gameplay overview

Players explore Hethereau on foot, by vehicle and through supernatural transport while investigating Anomalies and fighting with teams of collectible characters. The open world also supports vehicle customization, property ownership, home decoration, shops, management activities, minigames, character bonds and online co-op features.

Story, setting, or main mode

The Appraiser becomes Hethereau's first unlicensed Anomaly Hunter and joins the struggling Eibon Antique Shop, which accepts supernatural commissions from the public. Version 1.2 continues the main story through Fighting with a Dragon and opens Warren Continent after Dreamwalk Corridor is completed and Hunter Level 26 is reached.

Developer and publisher

Hotta Studio developed NTE: Neverness to Everness, and Perfect World Games publishes the global PC release; the platform listings also identify N2E Entertainment and Perfect Entertainment as the operating entities for mobile and PlayStation distribution.

Download and availability

NTE is free to download with optional purchases for Riftcrystals, passes, packs, cosmetics and chance-based character or Arc systems. The official site remains the central download hub, while Steam, Epic, App Store, Google Play and PlayStation provide direct platform storefronts.
