NTE: Neverness to Everness is a supernatural open-world action RPG set in Hethereau, a modern city where ordinary life overlaps with strange phenomena called Anomalies. Players become an unlicensed Anomaly Hunter who joins the struggling Eibon Antique Shop and takes commissions to investigate unusual incidents with a growing group of companions. When those investigations turn dangerous, combat unfolds in real time, while quieter stretches let players explore the city, drive and customize vehicles, purchase and furnish property, and build relationships with people they meet. Online activities and character progression extend the experience beyond the main story investigations.

Latest update

Version 1.3 "Rising from the Moonlit Fog" remains the current live major version of NTE: Neverness to Everness. Its September 9, 2026 maintenance update added the limited S-Class character Linko, the limited S-Class Arc "Voice of the Voyager," the permanent Yesteryear vehicle, and new Linko City Hangouts and Home Time content.

Release date and status

NTE: Neverness to Everness launched globally on April 29, 2026 for Windows PC, Android, iOS, Mac, PlayStation 5, and PlayStation 5 Pro. The Steam version followed on July 7, 2026, expanding the Windows release to another PC storefront.

Platforms and availability

NTE: Neverness to Everness is available on PC, Android, iOS / iPadOS, Mac, and PlayStation 5. Windows players can use the official NTE client, Steam, Epic Games Store, or Google Play Games on PC. Android distribution includes Google Play and Samsung Galaxy Store, while iPhone, iPad, and Mac use the App Store and PlayStation 5 uses PlayStation Store.

Cross-platform progression is supported between Windows PC, Mac, PlayStation 5, iOS / iPadOS, and Android when players use the same compatible game account. Regional servers remain independent, so character progress created on one server does not transfer to another server.

Gameplay and setting

NTE takes place primarily in Hethereau, a modern metropolis where supernatural Anomalies coexist with everyday city life. The player becomes an Appraiser and unlicensed Anomaly Hunter working with the Eibon Antique Shop, taking commissions and investigating unusual incidents alongside characters from Eibon, the Bureau of Anomaly Control, and other organizations around the city.

The open-world structure combines action RPG combat and character progression with exploration, driving, property ownership, social systems, and urban activities. Players can customize vehicles, purchase and furnish homes, build relationships through Bagel, City Hangouts, Hangout, and Move-In systems, and use the Ghost Train to move through Anomaly space.

City Tycoon expands the non-combat side of the game with businesses, assets, properties, garages, and ways to earn Fons. Other activities include fishing, street racing, delivery and cab work, online Mahjong, and multiplayer modes such as Pink Paws Heist. Character acquisition and development also use Limited Boards, Arcs, and the Arc Research Program alongside the game's free-to-play in-app purchase model.

Trailer, screenshots, and media

The selected media combines the official gameplay trailer with seven images showing Hethereau exploration, city travel, supernatural combat, driving, gravity-altered environments, street racing, and an Anomaly-filled train encounter.
