Infinity Nikki Version 2.8 Adds Heaven's Reach
Infinity Nikki Version 2.8, the "Golden Dust" update, went live on July 16, 2026, opening the new city area of Heaven's Reach and introducing the Heart of Infinity System for crafting the free 5-star Miracle Outfit Hymn to Dusk. Heaven's Reach
Version 2.8 opens Heaven's Reach, the largest city area in Infinity Nikki so far. The new region features grand structures designed for exploration, along with new chests to find, regional achievements to complete, and resources exclusive to that area. Progression through Heaven's Reach is tied to the Golden Dust main quest, which rewards the free 5-star outfit at completion.
New Outfits and How to Get Them
The update adds seven new outfits. Completing the Golden Dust main quest earns the free 5-star Miracle Outfit Hymn to Dusk. Players collect outfit sketches for it through the Heart of Infinity System by infusing Whimstars; no purchase is necessary.
Two limited-time Resonance events run through August 27, 2026, each offering a separate 5-star outfit. The [At Dreams' Dawn] Resonance event grants Dawning Heartlight alongside the Gilded Dawnchaser Mount ability. The [Through Songbound Night] Resonance event grants White Night's Ballet with the Spinning Reflections ability.
Four 4-star outfits round out the new additions: Dustwoven Tribute, Painted to Life, Cloudbreak Stitches, and Mechanical Demonstration.
Heart of Infinity System
The Heart of Infinity System is introduced in Version 2.8 as the dedicated path for building the Hymn to Dusk outfit. Players spend Whimstars to obtain sketches that go toward completing the outfit set. This system is separate from the summon banner and does not require gacha pulls.
Mount and Wardrobe Updates
Mount customization now lets you set a personal style for Mount Mode independently of your standard outfit. While mounted, you can also switch directly to gathering abilities without dismounting first. Wardrobe updates add an open-world scene preview to custom styling interfaces, a per-piece special effect toggle, and scheme import support for ability outfit customization.
Note: Most events from Version 2.8 expire on August 27, 2026, at 12:49 UTC-7. This includes both Resonance events and the Mira Crown Merit Arena's current theme.

Players who logged in before July 24, 2026, received 300 Diamonds and 1 Resonite Crystal as a maintenance compensation package. That window has now closed.
