GODDESS OF VICTORY: NIKKE — August 13 Update Overview

Maintenance for the August 13, 2026 update is complete and the server is back online. Commanders can log in normally, and compensation for the maintenance downtime has been sent to in-game mailboxes. The update is mandatory: players will need roughly 19GB of free space (22GB for new installs) to download it via the App Store, Google Play, or PC Launcher.

New Characters

• SSR Queen (Makoto Niijima): Attacker (Fire, Abnormal). Boosts her own offensive power and deals multi-target damage on Burst. Available via Limited-Time Recruitment from the end of maintenance through September 10, 2026 (4:59:59 UTC+9). SSR pull rate is 4%, with a 2% chance specifically for Queen; 200 Gold Mileage Tickets can also be exchanged for her in the Mileage Shop.
• SSR Yukiko Amagi: Attacker (Fire, Abnormal). Heals allies while enhancing her own attack, with multi-target Burst damage. Available August 20 through September 10, 2026, under the same recruitment and mileage-exchange terms as Queen.
• SR Aigis: Supporter (Iron, Abnormal). Strengthens allies and deals Burst damage to multiple enemies. Obtainable only through the PERSONA ON FRONTLINE collaboration event, running through September 10, 2026.
  
• Recruitable characters can be temporarily added to squads in the Union Shooting Range for the duration of their respective Limited-Time Recruitment windows.

New Costumes

• Phantom, Saint Thief: Available via Costume Gacha, with full voice-over, Burst cutscene, and SD motion.
• Queen (Makoto Niijima), Queen's Pajamas (Ver. NIKKE Collabo): Obtainable through the THIEF QUEEN PASS.
• Yukiko Amagi, Winter Roomwear (Ver. NIKKE Collabo): Obtainable through the SNOW FLAKES PASS.
• Queen, Shujin Academy Student Council President: Unlocked via PERSONA ON FRONTLINE achievement missions (requires owning SSR Queen).
• Yukiko Amagi, Amagi Inn Kimono: Also unlocked via achievement missions (requires owning SSR Yukiko Amagi).
• Flora, Fairy Rabbit: Obtainable through the September Mission Pass.

Limited Costume Rerun

Miranda, Thief of Justice returns to the Cash Shop for a limited time, from the end of maintenance through September 10, 2026.

New Events

• PERSONA ON FRONTLINE: Major collaboration with Persona 3 Reload, Persona 4 Golden, and Persona 5 Royal. Commanders investigate a wave of blackout incidents tied to D-Wave activity and encounter Persona users. Runs through September 10, 2026, and includes a two-part story campaign (STORY I from launch, STORY II from August 20), Challenge Stage boss fights, and a five-player Coordinated Operation against the boss Gatekeeper across three weekend windows (Aug 14–16, 21–23, 28–30). Event Shop exchanges close September 10.
• MIDNIGHT PHANTOM RUNNER: A collaboration endless-runner mini-game themed around Phantom's phantom-thief simulator, available through September 10.
• Archives, TRUE FLAVOR: A new story event unlocked by collecting Memory Films through PERSONA ON FRONTLINE.
• Storyline, Campaign Chapters 47 & 48: New main story chapters, available immediately.
• 14-Day Login Event, Phantom Thieves' Calling Card: Daily login rewards over 14 days, including SR Aigis, through September 10.
• Trail Marker Event: Rewards for clearing Main Scenarios (including Story Difficulty), running through October 8, 2026.
• Weekend FULL BURST DAY: Bonus rewards in Interception and Simulation Room on three weekends (Aug 15–17, 22–24, 29–31).

Title Screen Change

A collaboration-exclusive title screen is displayed for the duration of the event.

Champion Arena

Beta Season 36 begins August 13; Beta Season 37 begins August 27. Top-4 SP Arena Commanders compete through League, Promotion Tournament, and Champions' Duel stages, with a Cheer prediction system and ranking-based avatar frames.

Solo Raid

Season 40 runs August 20–27, 2026, against a Wind Code boss (weak to Fire). Rewards include Harmony Cube materials, Favorite/Collection Item maintenance materials, and ranking-based Special Frames and Gems.

• Campaign Chapters 47–48 (requires clearing Chapter 46).
• New Lost Sectors: Sector 29 and EX-17.
• New Harmony Cube added.
• Tribe Tower expanded to Floor 1550; Manufacturer Towers expanded to Floor 1450.
• Max Outpost Defense level raised to 800.
• Lost Sector sort order adjusted to prioritize unexplored sectors.
• Union Raid overhaul (effective Season 44, early September): visible damage tracking for Normal/Hard stages 1–3, adjustable Battle Simulation levels and viewable records, improved Union Records with sorting and battle-report access, boss weakness display on stage entry, a new Union Log button, simplified clear animations, easier-to-view reward info during calculations, and increased Union Chip rewards across boss clears, daily clears, and rankings.
• Increased random Cube Battery rewards in Solo Raid.
• New feature to swap batteries on max-level Harmony Cubes.
• New Lobby backgrounds, profile decoration objects, and titles.

New Commodities

• Costume Gacha, Phantom (Saint Thief): 10-draw system using the Sacred Phantom Thief Mask item, purchasable via the Ticket Shop; through September 10.
• THIEF QUEEN PASS and SNOW FLAKES PASS: Premium mission passes unlocking Queen's and Yukiko's collab costumes at max level.
• September Mission Pass: Unlocks Flora's Fairy Rabbit costume; on sale September 1–30.
• New character packages available in the Cash Shop through September 17.
• A new Rookie Commander sign-in pack, available for 14 days after clearing Main Stages 1–4.
• TRACING THE STARS rhythm game: New song "Hero" (Main Scenario 18 BGM) added, plus a paid Album Pack with 9 additional tracks.
• T.T.S. EXTENSION PACK V.2: A new paid album containing 9 songs, including the TRUE FLAVOR and PROJECT MATIS story-event tracks.

Optimizations & Misc. Updates

Due to production scheduling, Neon's Japanese voice lines are missing from Main Scenario Chapters 47–48 and will be added in a future update.
