News summary

Drop 3 2026 content is enabled automatically instead of sitting behind an experimental toggle.

Abandoned Camps have revised layouts and additional campsite variants.

Gameplay fixes cover fall damage, Nether respawns, End portal generation and cross-dimension teleporting.

The build also addresses Realms downloads, crashes, memory leaks and interface problems.

Update overview

Mojang Studios moved the current Drop 3 feature set into the default Preview and Beta experience, so testers no longer need to enable its experimental switch.

Abandoned Camps receive more generation variety, while cushions are prevented from spawning inside surrounding objects. Poplar items and other Drop 3 blocks also receive ordering, texture and behavior corrections.

The wider fix list repairs inconsistent Eyes of Ender in portals created from the same seed, unexpected teleport destinations and players returning to the Nether after dying inside a portal.

Preview remains available on Xbox, PlayStation, Windows and iOS, while Android players access the Beta through Google Play.
