COSM-GAME Honkai: Star Rail Adds Robin • Summeretto in Version 4.5
HoYoverse revealed Honkai: Star Rail Version 4.5 "To Roll the Stars in Astropolis" during the August 14, 2026 Special Program, with the update launching on August 26. The update adds Robin • Summeretto, a 5-star Wind character following the Path of Remembrance, while Aventurine • Waveflair, a 5-star Quantum character following the Path of Elation, arrives in the second half starting September 12. Version 4.5 also adds new Astropolis story content, new events, a Divergent Universe update, and an option to speed up story dialogue.

Version 4.5 Sends the Trailblazer to Astropolis
Honkai: Star Rail Version 4.5 "To Roll the Stars in Astropolis" launches on August 26. The story continues after the Express Crew's conflict with Lord Ravager Asat Pramad, as a crisis involving the Voracity puts Planarcadia in danger.
The Trailblazer travels to Astropolis to seek the power needed to help Planarcadia. Astropolis is an important Interastral Peace Corporation stronghold and the headquarters of Interastral Peace Entertainment.
The new Trailblaze Continuance brings Robin and Aventurine into the Astropolis journey.
Robin • Summeretto Debuts in Version 4.5
Robin • Summeretto is a new limited 5-star Wind character following the Path of Remembrance. Since Sunday left Penacony, Robin has taken over as head of the Oak Family, and her visit to Astropolis also involves an investigation into Gopher Wood's legacy.
In combat, Robin • Summeretto performs alongside a band of birds and supports her teammates through Vibes. Actions taken by teammates accumulate Vibes for Robin.
After Robin uses her Skill and reaches the required amount of Vibes, the team enters Fever Pitch. Allies receive buffs when they attack enemies, and the effect becomes stronger as the team takes more actions.
Her Ultimate immediately advances one selected teammate's action, restores that teammate's Energy, and increases Robin's Vibes.
Robin also performs a new song named "Only by Chasing the Wind" during the Version 4.5 story.
First-Half Event Warps
Robin • Summeretto becomes available when Version 4.5 launches. The first half also includes a returning character and new Light Cone additions.

Aventurine • Waveflair Arrives in the Second Half
Aventurine • Waveflair is a new limited 5-star Quantum character following the Path of Elation. His story continues during a vacation in Astropolis while he investigates his suspicions concerning a traitor among the Ten Stonehearts.
His combat animations use beach volleyball and surfing. Using his abilities and taking actions with teammates builds Punchline and Fervor.
When Fervor reaches the required amount, Aventurine • Waveflair immediately triggers an additional Elation Skill. The attack hits all enemies and then deals multiple instances of randomly targeted single-target damage.
His Elation Skill receives another enhancement during the next Aha Instant. Its damage increases as the team takes more actions.
Second-Half Event Warps Start September 12
The second half of Version 4.5 begins on September 12 with Aventurine • Waveflair and another returning character.

Overdrive Whirlwind Grand Prix
Version 4.5 introduces the racing event "Overdrive: Whirlwind Grand Prix." The Trailblazer takes the role of a team principal and leads a racing crew through the competition.
Minuscule Great Adventure
"Minuscule Great Adventure" is another event included in Version 4.5. It uses stage-based challenges as part of the new version's event lineup.
Divergent Universe and Double-Drop Events
Divergent Universe receives another gameplay update in Version 4.5.
Two double-drop events also return during the version:

Story Dialogue Can Be Sped Up
Version 4.5 adds an option to increase the speed of story dialogue. The setting can be turned on or off while story dialogue is playing.

Honkai: Star Rail is also collaborating with MOONDROP. The collaboration includes Sparxie-themed products and online and offline activities that will gradually roll out across multiple regions.
Zenless Zone Zero Collaboration Is Coming Later
HoYoverse also announced a collaboration between Honkai: Star Rail and Zenless Zone Zero for later in 2026. Characters from Zenless Zone Zero will appear in Honkai: Star Rail as part of the collaboration, with more information to be released separately.
