Honkai: Star Rail can continue the same PC or mobile progress on PlayStation 5 when the PSN account is linked to the HoYoverse Account that owns your character. Check the character server and PSN account region before the first PS5 login because PlayStation selects the corresponding server from the PSN region.

Your PSN region must correspond to the server that holds your character
Honkai: Star Rail synchronizes progression between PC, Android, iOS, and PlayStation 5 through the same HoYoverse Account and game server. Before opening the PS5 version, check which server contains your existing Trailblazer.
PlayStation does not use a manual server selector in the same way as the PC or mobile login flow. The location registered to the PSN account determines its corresponding server, so use a PSN account that matches the America, Europe, or Asia server containing your character.
Link the existing HoYoverse Account on the first PS5 login
- Confirm the server containing your character. Check this on PC or mobile before starting the PlayStation version.
- Use a PSN account from the corresponding region. This determines the server the PS5 version accesses.
- Launch Honkai: Star Rail on PS5. Continue until the account choice appears.
- Select
Already have an account, log in directly. Follow the prompts to link the current PSN account to the existing HoYoverse Account. - Open
Settings>Account>User Center. Confirm the linked account information matches the account used on PC or mobile. - Enter the game and verify the existing character. Check the UID and progression before changing any account links.
The linked HoYoverse Account carries the same save between supported platforms
After the correct link is established, the same-server character progress is available through the HoYoverse Account on PC and mobile and through the connected PSN account on PlayStation 5. If you created the account on PS5 first, link an email through Settings > Account > User Center, then use that email and password on the other supported platforms.
Existing PSN links and the one-time unlink rule are important blockers
- A PSN account that was already used with a HoYoverse game can already be linked to a HoYoverse Account.
- If that link already exists, Honkai: Star Rail can use the associated account instead of offering a new account link.
- HoYoverse states that a PlayStation Network Account can be unlinked only once.
- The PS5 version supports the America, Europe, and Asia server set, so a character on an unsupported regional server cannot be reached through PS5.
If your normal Trailblazer does not appear on PS5
First verify the PSN region and game server. If those match, open User Center and confirm which HoYoverse Account is linked. If the wrong HoYoverse Account was attached, secure it with an email if needed, then use the HoYoverse Account Center Linked Accounts section to unlink the PSN account. Relaunch the game and choose Already have an account, log in directly to attach the intended account. Because the unlink action is limited to one time, confirm the target account before completing it.
