Rhiannon Joins Reverse: 1999 for the Third Anniversary
Reverse: 1999 Version 3.7, "On Another's Sorrow," launched on August 13, 2026 as the game's Third Anniversary update. Rhiannon, a 6-star character who tends to a flock of mythical birds, is available on the "A Newly Hatched Chapter" limited banner from August 13 through September 3, with 10 free pulls included via daily login. Ms. Stranger, a 6-star Foundation spy who rewrites her own memories for undercover missions, follows in Phase 2 from September 3 through September 17 on the "Beneath the Guise of Her Cocoon" banner. Coppélia, a 6-star character whose arm has been transformed into a tuning fork, is available as a free claim for all players during the anniversary period alongside 67 total free summons, a selectable 6-star Artifice, and Unilog x25.

New Characters
Version 3.7 adds five new characters across two phases. Rhiannon, the Phase 1 limited character, is available on "A Newly Hatched Chapter" from August 13 through September 3. She tends to a flock of Adar Llwch Gwin, mythical birds that have long protected her family. Her banner includes 10 free daily-login pulls.
Ms. Stranger follows in Phase 2 on "Beneath the Guise of Her Cocoon," available September 3 through September 17. She is a Foundation spy who rewrites her own memories to sustain undercover missions. Her banner also carries 10 free daily-login pulls.
Three additional characters are available without banner pulls. Coppélia is a free 6-star claim for all players during the anniversary. The 5-star characters Silverwing Eagle and Matilda are both obtainable through in-game events at no pull cost.
Third Anniversary Rewards
The Third Anniversary distributes a total of 67 free summons across events, banner bonuses, and login rewards. Additional rewards include a selectable 6-star Artifice, Unilog x25, and a free "Fire Lotus" Cut-to-fit Garment for Spathodea available to all players. New anniversary garments are also available for Nautika, Coppélia, and 37.
New Gameplay Modes
Three new modes launch with Version 3.7:
- Truth a Posteriori: A resource-survival mode set in the El Dorado region
- Focused Flashback: Monster and challenge stages
- The Syndrome of Silence: A new chapter in the ongoing mode
Musae's Arcade returns with a new entry: 8-Bit Arcade Remix: Beach Battle.
Character and System Updates
New Euphoria enhancements were added for Nautika and Regulus. Regulus also gains a new Photomancy ability. A new Wilderness theme pack is available. Euphoria and Photomancy changes apply to the existing versions of these characters and do not require new pulls.
