COSM-GAME PUBG Mobile 4.6 Adds Midnight Hunters to Erangel
PUBG Mobile released Version 4.6.0 on September 9, 2026, introducing the Midnight Hunters themed mode and a broad set of Erangel changes. The vampire and hunter themed mode runs across Erangel, Livik and Sanhok with Hunter Guilds, Vampire Areas, Golden Bat encounters, Scream Crates and Blood Crystal Barriers. The themed rules are layered onto battle royale matches rather than replacing the normal survival objective. Players still loot, rotate and fight other squads, but Midnight Hunters adds locations and PvE encounters that can change how a team prepares for those fights.
Hunter Guilds and Vampire Areas Add New Objectives
Hunter Guilds act as special activity areas containing multiple ways to earn or uncover useful items. The guild includes a shooting range where Silver Hunter Medals can be earned, hidden mechanisms and a podium area.
Vampire Areas provide another supernatural activity type. Sanhok does not include Vampire Areas, while Livik contains two of them.

Vampire Enemies Change the PvE Side of a Match
Midnight Hunters adds several supernatural enemies alongside human opponents. Bloodwalkers and Nightbats populate the themed locations, while Vampire Elders act as stronger encounters.
Some elite enemies use shields that have to be dealt with before their main health pool can be pressured. This gives Midnight Hunters teams a reason to consider PvE threats while also watching for enemy squads moving toward the same activity.
Blood Crystal Barriers Create Temporary Cover
The Blood Crystal Barrier provides a supernatural defensive tool. Bullets and throwables cannot pass through its opening while the barrier is active.
The barrier is not permanent. It has a duration, durability and cooldown, so its protection has to be used around a specific fight rather than treated as permanent map cover.
Bloodline Awakening Lets Players Return as Vampires
Bloodline Awakening introduces a faction battle during the Midnight Hunters period. It first opens on selected weekends from September 18 and later becomes continuously available from October 16 through November 11.
When eliminated, an eligible player can give up the normal respawn route and return as a vampire. Up to 20 vampire players can participate, and their objective is to eliminate the remaining human players.

Erangel Gets New Locations and Match Activities
Version 4.6.0 also refreshes several parts of Erangel. Rozhok, Mylta, Quarry, Gatka, Stalber and Sosnovka Military Base are among the locations receiving changes.
Classic Erangel gains in-match missions, Supply Shop improvements, interactive lockers and floating cargo. Channel Buoys also appear near Sosnovka Military Base, adding another interactive element around the island's southern military area.
Ocean Odyssey and Metro Royale Expand the Update
Ocean Odyssey returns to Ranked Erangel from September 30 at 11:00 through November 11 at 05:59. Its return sits alongside the new Midnight Hunters cycle rather than replacing the vampire themed mode.
Metro Royale Chapter 34 begins September 10 at 10:00 and runs through November 10 at 05:59. The chapter adds new collectible content, mutated vampire bases and Golden Bat statues to the extraction-focused mode.
Version 4.6.0 also adds the portable Inflatable Boat and begins another Classic season on September 12, making Midnight Hunters the central addition inside a wider September content rollout.
