Genshin Impact Luna VIII Adds Columbina and Raiden

Somnias a Luna places Columbina on the limited Character Event Wish, while Reign of Serenity returns Raiden Shogun in the parallel Character Event Wish-2.

Epitome Invocation is the weapon wish running with the two character banners during Luna VIII Phase II.

HoYoverse announced the three wishes on July 16 and activated them on July 21.

Players should check the countdown shown in the in-game Wish menu before committing Intertwined Fates or setting a weapon course.

HoYoverse’s second Luna VIII wish rotation gives players a choice between Columbina and Raiden Shogun without combining them into one character pool. Somnias a Luna and Reign of Serenity remain separate wishes, so players select the banner tied to the five-star character they want.

The accompanying Epitome Invocation wish covers the weapon side of the rotation. Its course and remaining availability are displayed inside the Wish screen, where players can review the current promotional items before spending currency.

This July 21 rotation is a time-boxed event rather than a change to Genshin Impact’s permanent platform or release information.

Genshin Impact’s verified account published the Phase II Event Wishes notice on July 16, 2026, naming Somnias a Luna, Reign of Serenity, and Epitome Invocation. HoYoverse’s Phase II events preview followed the same July 16 cycle, and the three wishes became available July 21.
