Sunny Summer Fontinalia is a limited-time Genshin Impact event in Version Luna VIII with two free headline rewards: an invitation for the 4-star Cryo character Charlotte and her "Hurlock Variations" outfit. The event closes on August 11, 2026 at 03:59.
Three requirements open the event
You need Adventure Rank 20 or above, Archon Quest Prologue: Act III — "Song of the Dragon and Freedom" completed, and any Statue of The Seven unlocked in Fontaine.
The Fontaine Statue is the requirement most accounts miss, because Adventure Rank alone does not open the event.
Open the event and claim both rewards
Install Luna VIII, open the event interface, enter Sunny Summer Fontinalia, then track the Charlotte invitation and the Hurlock Variations outfit as separate reward lines.
Two rewards with separate progress
Charlotte is the character invitation reward, and Hurlock Variations is her outfit. Both are free during the event, and both have their own progress thresholds inside it.
Already owning Charlotte does not make the event pointless — the outfit is tracked separately.
Everything ends on August 11
The event closes on August 11, 2026 at 03:59. Meeting the requirements after that does not recover the free rewards, and the outfit is only free during the event period.
Leaving all progress to the final hours risks missing one of the two reward lines.
