League of Legends Patch 26.17 was detailed by Riot Games on August 25, 2026, ahead of its August 26 release. Summoner's Rift champion balance
Patch 26.17 changes 14 champions in the main Summoner's Rift balance pass. Riot is reducing some strong top, jungle and mid lane picks while giving several melee AD carries more reliable scaling.
- Aurelion Sol gets lower Breath of Light mana costs and a shorter Astral Flight cooldown.
- Cho'Gath gains more base damage on Vorpal Spikes.
- Graves loses bonus attack damage scaling on both parts of End of the Line.

Stormrazor and Sundered Sky change
Stormrazor's attack speed rises from 20 percent to 25 percent. Sundered Sky is nerfed again, with health reduced from 450 to 400 and attack damage reduced from 45 to 40.
League Classic gets a larger systems update
League Classic receives two additional Rune Pages, increased Influence Points and Classic XP gains, reduced prices for about one third of its runes, around 20 balance changes and several dozen bug fixes. Riot also updates Summoner's Rift lighting, textures and decals to move the map closer to its older visual presentation.

ARAM: Mayhem adds two fighter-focused Augments, Ultra Hydra and Upgrade Death's Dance. Critical Missile is reduced, Double Tap moves from Gold to Prismatic, Tripleshot prioritizes enemies near its main target, and several other Augments receive adjustments or bug fixes.
Arena also receives a wide balance pass across champions, items and the Serve Beyond Death Augment. Riot is returning Arena to an alternating patch schedule and plans to focus its balance updates on odd-numbered League patches.
System updates, bug fixes and new skins
The minimum and recommended macOS specifications have been updated. Patch 26.17 also adds a controller preset for spectator camera movement with ReplayAPI and fixes issues involving Jayce, Diana, Akali, Swiftmarch, Vladimir and rare Blind Pick starting-item lockouts.

Heartsong Seraphine, Ocean Song Soraka and Ocean Song Jinx are scheduled to become available on August 26, 2026. Chromas for all three skins are also listed for release with this patch.
