COSM-GAME Crimson Desert Enhanced Update 2.00.00 Is Available
Crimson Desert received the free Crimson Desert Enhanced update from Pearl Abyss on August 25, 2026, through Version 2.00.00. The update expands the main story with new cutscenes and story moments, adds five voice languages and Arabic interface and subtitle support, and introduces eight new Kliff skills with a revised skill learning system. The patch is available on Steam for PC and Mac, PlayStation, Xbox and Epic Games Store, while the Mac App Store version is still in progress.

Enhanced update availability

Story and language changes
The Enhanced update revises parts of the main story and quests. Pearl Abyss added new cutscenes, story moments, knowledge, items, memory fragments, dialogue and conversations to strengthen the narrative flow and add more context around bosses.
- German, French, Spanish, Japanese and Brazilian Portuguese voice support has been added.
- Arabic is now supported for the interface and subtitles.
- The main quest UI has been improved.
Skill progression has been reworked
The update introduces Abyss Link as a new skill learning resource. When a playable character spends Abyss Artifacts to learn a skill, the other playable characters receive an equivalent number of Abyss Links, letting each character manage progression more independently.
- Skill progression can now be reset separately for each playable character.
- Abyss Links spent by an individual character are refunded when that character's skill progression is reset.
- Abyss Links and other in-game currency can be carried into a new game from an existing save after all main quests are completed.
- Kliff receives eight new skills that unlock after reaching a specified point in the main story.
Note: Existing skill progression is reset the first time the game launches after the update. Previously spent skill resources, including Abyss Artifacts, are refunded.
Controls, combat and other fixes
Version 2.00.00 also adds a Flying Mount Controls option with Camera and Manual control choices. The Golden Star battle has been divided into distinct phases with phase-specific attack patterns, and Bilwise now rewards Double Jump during the quest "Unexpected Gift."
The patch also fixes issues involving Kilnden Workshop crafting, Blackstar mount cooldown behavior, safe-zone use of Axiom Force, Strongbow Gloves, Nature's Grasp, quest UI, trade goods, outfits, terrain, memory fragments and several other gameplay and presentation problems. Localization quality was also improved across all supported languages.
