Re-blockade Frequency is under Gameplay settings

Crimson Desert includes a dedicated Re-blockade Frequency option for controlling how often liberated strongholds can be attacked again.

Open Settings > Gameplay and locate Re-blockade Frequency. Pearl Abyss introduced this control with the Re-blockade system in Version 1.05.00.

Choose Stable, Conflict, or War

1
Open Settings.
2
Select Gameplay.
3
Find Re-blockade Frequency.
4
Select the frequency you want.

The three available settings have different effects:

  • Stable: Re-blockades will not occur.
  • Conflict: Re-blockades occur intermittently. This is the default setting.
  • War: Re-blockades occur frequently.

Pearl Abyss documents the full setting in the official Version 1.05.00 patch notes.

Stable does not immediately cancel every pending attack

Changing Re-blockade Frequency does not necessarily erase Re-blockades that the game had already planned.

Pearl Abyss states that when you change the frequency, the new setting is applied after previously planned Re-blockades are initiated.

This means you can change the option to Stable and still see a Re-blockade that was already scheduled before the change.

Note: If your goal is to stop Re-blockades, do not assume the setting failed because one more attack appears immediately after switching to Stable.

Re-blockades can trigger after loading transitions

Re-blockades are not necessarily applied the instant their conditions are met. Pearl Abyss says the system applies them after a loading screen.

Examples given by the developer include:

  • Saving and loading the game
  • Sleeping in a bed

Eligible strongholds also need to meet specific time and condition requirements before a Re-blockade can occur.

Use Conflict for the default balance

Conflict is the default Re-blockade Frequency. It keeps Re-blockades active without making them happen as frequently as the War setting.

Use Conflict when you still want liberated areas to face occasional threats and give you reasons to return to strongholds without maximizing the invasion frequency.

Use War for more frequent Re-blockades

Select War when you want Re-blockades to happen more often.

This setting increases the frequency of eligible Re-blockades, making the liberation system more active than the default Conflict setting.

The original Re-blockade implementation allowed multiple factions to attack forts and quarries, and later patches expanded the system with additional locations and stronger progression around defending liberated territory.

Major strongholds can also use Protection

Version 1.10.00 added another way to reduce Re-blockade pressure without changing the global frequency.

For eligible major strongholds, visit the regional contribution assessor and request Protection. Pearl Abyss says Protection suppresses Re-blockades at those major strongholds.

You can read the current feature addition in the official Version 1.10.00 patch notes.

If Re-blockades still happen after selecting Stable

  • Confirm that Re-blockade Frequency is set to Stable under Settings > Gameplay.
  • Remember that previously planned Re-blockades can still begin before the new frequency fully applies.
  • Allow any already scheduled Re-blockades to resolve.
  • For an eligible major stronghold, consider requesting Protection from its regional contribution assessor.
  • If new Re-blockades continue after pending events are cleared, make sure Crimson Desert is fully updated before checking the setting again.

FAQ

8 questions

Open Settings > Gameplay and find Re-blockade Frequency.

Stable prevents new Re-blockades from occurring after the new frequency has taken effect.

Conflict causes Re-blockades to occur intermittently. Pearl Abyss lists Conflict as the default setting.

War increases the frequency so Re-blockades occur frequently.

Pearl Abyss says a new frequency takes effect after previously planned Re-blockades have been initiated, so an already scheduled Re-blockade can still occur after you change the option.

Pearl Abyss says eligible Re-blockades can be applied after a loading screen, including after saving and loading or sleeping in a bed.

Yes. Version 1.10.00 added Protection for major strongholds. You can request it through the regional contribution assessor to suppress Re-blockades at that stronghold.

Stable controls the frequency of new Re-blockades. You can switch the setting again later if you want Re-blockade encounters to resume.
