Apex Legends lets eligible players buy gifts for in-game friends directly from the Store. You need Level 50, two-factor authentication, enough Apex Coins, two weeks of in-game friendship, and accounts in good standing before you can send one.

You need Level 50, 2FA, and two weeks of in-game friendship
Before you can send a gift, your Apex Legends account must be Level 50 or higher and in good standing. The recipient's account must also be in good standing.
You also need enough Apex Coins to pay for the gift and you must have been friends with the recipient inside Apex Legends for at least two weeks. A PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, or Steam friendship by itself does not satisfy this requirement.
If two-factor authentication is not enabled yet, open the official EA 2FA instructions. You can then open the EA Account Security and Privacy page, select Two-factor authentication, choose Turn On, select a verification method, and complete the verification code process.
Send the gift from the Store

The recipient does not need to manually accept the gift. It is added to their inventory automatically and an inbox notification appears in the lobby.
They can open the inbox, select the Gift Received message, choose View Items, and then open their Inventory if they want to equip the new content.
Only eligible Store content can be gifted
- Eligible gifts include Legends, Legend Passes, Battle Passes, and selected Store offers.
- Apex Coins themselves cannot be gifted.
- Crafting Metals and Legend Tokens cannot be used to buy gifts.
- You cannot transfer an item from your own inventory.
- A single item cannot be gifted if the recipient already owns it.
- Eligible bundles can receive a lower price when the recipient already owns some included items.
- You can send no more than five gifts in a 24-hour period.
Note: Gifts are final and non-refundable. Check the recipient, platform, and Apex Coin total carefully before completing the purchase.
If your friend is missing or marked ineligible
If the recipient does not appear, confirm that they accepted your friend request inside Apex Legends. You must then remain in-game friends for at least two weeks before gifting becomes available.
A player can also be marked ineligible because they already own the selected item, their account is not in good standing, or regional requirements prevent that specific gift.
If 2FA is enabled but gifting still does not work
Make sure the EA Account signed in to your EA Account settings is the same account used to play Apex Legends. Confirm that Two-factor authentication is active, restart the game, and try the purchase again.
If you see 0 gifts left, you have reached the five-gift limit for the current 24-hour period and must wait before sending another gift.
If the game reports a server error, check the official EA server status page. Wait for the affected service to recover before trying the gift again.
If a received gift does not appear, return to the lobby and check the inventory again. If a gift appeared and later went missing, EA asks players to contact support within 30 days so the issue can be investigated.
