COSM-GAME Wuthering Waves
Wuthering Waves is an open-world action RPG set in a world rebuilding after a catastrophe called the Lament, and you play as Rover, an amnesiac traveler searching for lost memories and answers about the disaster. You explore large regions, complete story and side quests, solve environmental challenges, and fight fast-moving enemies with a three-character team that can swap members during combat. Defeated monsters can be absorbed as Echoes, collectible powers that strengthen character builds and can be called on during battle. Progress comes from improving characters and weapons, refining Echo combinations, exploring new regions, and taking on co-op and repeatable combat challenges.

Version 3.6 "Lamplight in Mirage, Sword's Resolve in Heart" launched on August 20, 2026 and is the current live version. It adds 5-Star Resonators Qingxiao and Jingran, the Xuanyuan Domain area and Calamity Effigy Echo, Main Quest Chapter IV Act III "Song of the Heart Sword" and the segue "The Nethermancer's Requiem," plus further Expedition Motorbike improvements and a new Tactical Hologram challenge.

Wuthering Waves launched globally on May 23, 2024 at 10:00 (UTC+8) for PC, Android, and iOS / iPadOS. PlayStation 5 followed on January 2, 2025, Mac on March 27, 2025, Steam on April 28, 2025, and Xbox Series X/S plus Xbox on PC on July 10, 2026. The current App Store release also supports Apple Vision through visionOS.

Platforms and availability
Wuthering Waves supports PC, Android, iOS / iPadOS, Mac, Apple Vision, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S. PC players can use the KURO GAMES client, Steam, Epic Games Store, Xbox on PC, or Google Play Games on PC. Xbox also supports Xbox Play Anywhere, Game Pass, and Xbox Cloud Gaming, while eligible PlayStation Plus Premium subscribers can use supported PS5 and PS Portal cloud streaming.
Gameplay and setting
Combat uses parties of three characters that can swap in and out during a fight, letting one character hand an attack or bonus to the next while the player dodges, parries, counters, and uses character-specific abilities. Enemies known as Tacet Discords can be absorbed as Echoes, which add passive build bonuses and an active ability, so exploration and monster collection feed directly into team progression.
The story follows the amnesiac Rover across the post-catastrophe world of Solaris-3. Exploration combines climbing, wall-running, gliding, grappling, Flight, and the Expedition Motorbike, while quests, regional stories, co-op, recurring combat challenges, and character progression provide the long-term loop between major story chapters.

The selected official release trailer presents Rover, the wider cast, open-world exploration, story scenes, and fast combat as a durable overview of the game. The gallery shows mountain settlements, waterfall environments, nighttime landscapes, and several combat scenes.

Official PC access is available through the KURO GAMES client, Steam, Epic Games Store, Xbox on PC, and Google Play Games on PC. Android uses Google Play, while iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple Vision use the App Store.
