Phantom Blade Zero is S-GAME Studio's upcoming action RPG for PlayStation 5 and PC, published by S-GAME Publishing for October 29, 2026. Soul has sixty-six days to uncover a conspiracy in a dark Phantom World shaped by wuxia, folk horror and fast motion-captured kungfu combat.

S-GAME's June 2, 2026 creative-director letter confirms that pre-orders and a new trailer are planned for summer 2026. S-GAME also plans a dedicated 15-to-20-minute State of Play after pre-orders open, covering the world, combat, exploration and character progression; exact dates remain unannounced.

Release date and status

Phantom Blade Zero is scheduled for October 29, 2026 on PlayStation 5 and PC. S-GAME moved the launch from its previously announced September 9 date to complete final polishing and optimization.

Platforms and availability

Sony Interactive Entertainment lists the PlayStation 5 version, while S-GAME's Steam and Epic Games Store pages confirm Windows PC releases. Wishlists are open on all three stores, but S-GAME has not announced Xbox, Nintendo Switch or mobile versions.

Gameplay overview

Phantom Blade Zero is a single-player action RPG built around fast kungfu combat, precise parries, evasive movement and weapon switching. S-GAME says the full game includes more than 30 main weapons and more than 20 Phantom Edges, with each loadout combining two main weapons, two secondary weapons and character-specific techniques.

Story, setting, or main mode

Soul is an elite assassin framed for the murder of his organization's patriarch and left with sixty-six days to live after a mystic healer repairs his ruined heart. His search for the truth crosses the Phantom World, a setting that mixes wuxia, Chinese folk horror, fantasy and industrial machinery.

S-GAME's special teaser and Sony Interactive Entertainment's PlayStation Store screenshots show Soul crossing rain-soaked settlements, fighting armored enemies and using fast sword techniques across the Phantom World.

Developer and publisher

S-GAME Studio develops Phantom Blade Zero and S-GAME Publishing publishes it. The team uses Unreal Engine 5 and motion-captured martial arts to build its combat and cinematic presentation.

Phantom Blade Zero is available to wishlist on PlayStation 5, Steam and the Epic Games Store. S-GAME has not announced pricing, editions or pre-order packages, and the game cannot yet be purchased or downloaded.

S-GAME's Steam and Epic Games Store pages currently list a 64-bit Windows 10 or Windows 11 operating system. CPU, memory, graphics, storage and sound-card targets remain unpublished; Sony Interactive Entertainment lists DualSense vibration, trigger effects and Game Help for the PlayStation 5 version.
