Gameplay overview

Miyamoto Musashi fights through third-person sword encounters built around parries, deflects, Issen counters, evasive movement and Oni-powered attacks. Capcom's current combat reveal also details Reflex Combos, Oni Strength and Oni Agility, while the Oni Gauntlet absorbs Genma souls to fuel stronger techniques.

The story follows Miyamoto Musashi through an early Edo-period Kyoto transformed by Malice and overrun by Genma. Locations include Kiyomizu-dera Temple and Mount Oe, where Musashi confronts supernatural enemies while searching for his reason to fight.
