Where Winds Meet

Version 2.1 "Clouded Revelation" remains the live version on September 8, 2026. Its September 3 content wave expands Hidden Mountain with Jianghu Legacy Volume III: Ephemeral Glory, raises Solo Mode Level to 17, introduces the Riven Twinblades martial art, and adds the Segmented Puppets Sword Trial and Snowfall's Reckoning Hero's Realm encounters. Version 2.2 "Perilous Eminence" is the next confirmed major update, with current mobile storefronts scheduling the Hidden Mountain finale for September 15 to 16 depending on storefront and region.

Where Winds Meet combines open-world exploration with real-time martial-arts combat built around interchangeable weapons, character abilities, and specialized fighting techniques. Players can move between melee, ranged, and stealth approaches, switch weapons during combat, develop equipment and skills, and absorb new techniques while exploring cities, wilderness, ruins, caves, and layered underground areas.

The story follows a young sword master through tenth-century China during the Five Dynasties and Ten Kingdoms period. The world supports professions and activities including crafting, architecture, astronomy, medicine, performance, and traditional games, while choices, reputation, factions, crime, and encounters affect the character's place in the world. The main adventure can be played primarily solo, with co-op, guild activities, multiplayer dungeons, raids, competitive duels, and shared-world play providing online options.
