Gameplay overview

Players explore Aesoland, track monsters, gather materials, craft equipment and construct field facilities before hunts. Classic Monster Hunter weapons are combined with character-specific Adventurer skills, Buddies and real-time cooperative hunts for up to four players.

Radiant Species alter familiar monsters, while ziplines, gliders and other constructed tools support movement and preparation across the open world.

Aesoland is an isolated ecosystem shaped by unusual environmental energy and Radiant Species. The playable roster includes Adventurers such as Pyro, Keres, Luka, Arkaya, Raya, Ouyang Varen, Madelyn and Midori, joined by Buddies including Rutaco, Trillan and Palico.
