Monster Hunter Outlanders
Monster Hunter Outlanders is a free-to-play action RPG developed by TiMi Studio Group and published by Level Infinite under license from Capcom. Players take on the role of an Adventurer exploring the island of Aesoland, hunting monsters alongside Buddies such as Palico, Rutaco, and Trillan. Progression centers on completing hunts and quests to craft weapons and gear, developing the Adventurer's skills and unlocking new areas of Aesoland's varied biomes. Its defining feature is Aesoland's Radiant species, monsters altered by the island's Radiantite mineral into more aggressive and unpredictable variants of classic Monster Hunter creatures.

Monster Hunter Outlanders is currently running its third Closed Beta Test, which began August 7, 2026 in Japan, the United States, Canada, Germany, the United Kingdom, France, and the Philippines. The test added new Radiant monsters and hunters beyond the second beta from May 2026, along with gameplay optimization improvements. The team also opened registration for an in-person MHO Feast pop-up event in Cologne, with sign-ups opening August 16, 2026.
Release date and status
Monster Hunter Outlanders has not received a confirmed global release date. Development has progressed through three regional closed beta tests: the first in November 2025, the second in April and May 2026, and the third starting August 7, 2026. Each test has been invite-only and limited to selected regions and applicants.

Platforms and availability
The game is confirmed for Android and iOS. It is not yet generally available on the Google Play Store or App Store; the current build is accessible only to players accepted into the closed beta test in supported regions.
Gameplay and setting
Players take on the role of an Adventurer, using signature Monster Hunter weapon types to track, fight, and craft gear from monsters across Aesoland's biomes. Hunts can be tackled solo or with up to four players, aided by Buddies such as the returning Palico or the Outlanders-exclusive Rutaco and Trillan. The setting centers on Aesoland, an island whose unique mineral, Radiantite, has produced the Radiant species, more aggressive and unpredictable variants of familiar monsters like Rathalos and Diablos that can enter a frenzied state mid-hunt.
