Forza Horizon 6 is Playground Games’ paid open-world racing game, published by Xbox Game Studios and released on May 19, 2026 for Xbox Series X|S and PC. The Italian Exotics Series 3 is now live in Japan with new reward cars, an Italian Aftermarket takeover, 52 EventLab props, the Italian Passion Car Pack, and leaderboard fixes.

Playground Games launched the Italian Exotics update on July 13, followed by the Series 3 Festival Playlist on July 16. The current Summer season runs through July 23 with the 1984 De Tomaso Pantera GT5 at 20 points and 2004 Maserati MC12 at 40 points. Series 3 also adds the Italian Passion Car Pack, Italian Aftermarket takeover, 52 EventLab props, new Car Pass vehicles, and a reset of affected Rivals leaderboards after exploit fixes.

Forza Horizon 6 is available on Xbox Series X|S and Windows PC through the Xbox app and Steam, with Game Pass, Xbox Play Anywhere, cross-save, Steam Deck verification, and PC handheld support. A PlayStation 5 version is planned for later in 2026.
Gameplay overview
Players explore Japan in more than 550 real-world cars, competing in road, street, dirt, cross-country, Touge, drag, drift, Time Attack, and Festival Playlist events. Co-op, Car Meets, homes, garages, EventLab creation, and online activities expand the open-world racing structure.
Story, setting, or main mode
Players arrive in Japan as tourists, qualify for the Horizon Festival, and progress toward becoming a Horizon Legend. The map combines Tokyo, mountain roads, rural landscapes, industrial areas, and distinct Japanese regions.
