How to redeem the codes
Pokémon Legends: Z-A Mystery Gifts are claimed through Link Play on Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2. A Nintendo Account and internet connection are required, but a Nintendo Switch Online membership is not.
Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2 — password gift
- Progress until Link Play and Mystery Gift are unlocked.
- Open Link Play and choose Mystery Gift.
- Select Get with Code/Password.
- Enter PREPAR1NG and confirm.
- Wait for the gift to arrive and allow the game to save.
Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2 — Internet gift
- Open Link Play and choose Mystery Gift.
- Select Get via Internet.
- Choose the available distribution.
- Confirm the gift and allow the game to save.
Code limits and expiry
PREPAR1NG can be used once per save data through March 31, 2027. Project M and Special distortion detected! are separate Get via Internet gifts, so they do not use a password or count as active password codes.
Rewards and claiming
The item set is added after the gift is confirmed and the game saves. Check the Bag for the Max Revives, Full Restores, and Ultra Balls.

Why a code may not work
A password can fail because it expired, it was already used in the save file, Link Play is not unlocked, the Nintendo Account is not linked, or the password was typed incorrectly.
Enter PREPAR1NG with the numeral 1, confirm the console is online, and allow the game to save after the gift downloads.
