COSM-GAME Tower of Fantasy
Tower of Fantasy is a shared open-world MMORPG set on Aida, an alien world damaged by a catastrophic energy disaster. You play a customizable Wanderer who explores large regions, solves environmental challenges, fights enemies in real time, and can travel with other players. Combat is built around changing between different weapons instead of staying in one fixed class, while Simulacra are weapon-linked character identities with their own appearances and stories. The game supports solo exploration as well as shared activities such as world bosses, cooperative instances, raids, crews, and competitive modes.

Latest update
Version 6.2 "Dreamland Beyond the Void" released on August 4, 2026. The Standard Version added the Simulacrum Gefion, opened Everland in Lockhart, continued the main story with Dreamland Beyond the Void, and added activities including Balance Builder, Perfect Shot, Fantasy Rhythm Party, and Vanguard Hunter. The Warp Server also opened Everland and received the new story and several related activities alongside its own weapon and seasonal progression updates.
Release date and status
Tower of Fantasy launched globally for PC, Android, and iOS on August 11, 2022 at 00:00 UTC. The Steam version followed on October 19, 2022. PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 versions launched on August 8, 2023. Operations for the Global service transferred from Level Infinite to Perfect World Games in February 2025, with Perfect World Games continuing the live service.

Platforms and availability
Tower of Fantasy is available on PC through the Perfect World Games client and Steam, on Android through Google Play, on iPhone and iPad through the App Store, and on PlayStation 5 through PlayStation Store. The App Store also lists the iPhone and iPad version as compatible with Apple Vision. The PlayStation 4 edition was removed from PlayStation Store on April 7, 2026, but existing owners can continue to redownload and play it until update and login support ends at 04:00 UTC on October 20, 2026.
Gameplay and setting
Players create a Wanderer and explore Aida and later regions through climbing, swimming, vehicles, environmental exploration, quests, and real-time combat. Instead of locking the player to a single class, combat revolves around equipping and switching between weapons. Simulacra connect weapons with character identities, appearances, and individual stories.
Tower of Fantasy supports solo exploration as well as multiplayer activities including world bosses, cooperative instances, raids, crews, and competitive modes. The game offers both the Standard Version and Warp Server through the same client. The Standard Version retains its established weapon and Matrix draw systems, while the Warp Server uses a different progression structure without weapon and Matrix draws.
The story begins on Aida after humanity harnessed an energy source called Omnium from the comet Mara and constructed the Omnium Tower, leading to a catastrophe that reshaped civilization. The expanding setting includes Aesperia, Vera and Mirroria, Innars, Domain 9, Kailo and Planet Noah, Lockhart, and other regions introduced through the continuing story.

The Global launch trailer presents Tower of Fantasy's science-fiction setting, open-world exploration, character-focused combat, and multiplayer structure. The selected gallery shows futuristic cities, vehicle traversal, social spaces, character customization, mechanical environments, and large outdoor areas.

Download and availability
PC players can access Tower of Fantasy through the Perfect World Games client or Steam. Android players can install it through Google Play, while iPhone and iPad players can use the App Store. PlayStation 5 remains available through PlayStation Store. The PlayStation 4 edition is no longer available to new owners, while players who previously obtained it can redownload it until its service period ends.

Tower of Fantasy has separate requirements and compatibility conditions across PC, Android, iOS / iPadOS, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Apple Vision. PC installation requirements differ between the Perfect World Games client and Steam, so the main PC table uses the official client specification while the Steam-specific storage and client requirement are noted separately.
The Steam listing specifies 90 GB of available storage. The current Steam client supports Windows 10 and later, so Windows 10 or later is required when playing through Steam even though the game's Steam specification still displays Windows 8.1 as its minimum OS.
The PlayStation 4 edition is limited to existing owners. Update and login support is scheduled to end at 04:00 UTC on October 20, 2026.
