Palworld

v1.0.4, released on September 6, 2026, is the newest official Palworld update. It adds the sub-missions "Beyond Dimensions" and "From the Far Side of the Moon", changes Pal combat behavior so summoned and base Pals prioritize more effective attacks, retunes fishing difficulty and rewards in Sunreach and the World Tree, and improves rendering performance, stability, and Palpedia usability.

Palworld takes place across the Palpagos Islands and surrounding regions, where players gather materials, craft weapons and equipment, build bases, explore dungeons and open areas, fight hostile humans and creatures, and capture Pals using throwable Pal Spheres. Pals have different combat abilities and traits, and many can also be ridden across land, water, or the air. Version 1.0 expanded the roster to 287 Pals and added Sunreach, floating islands, new settlements, additional bosses, and the World Tree as a major destination in the game's story.

Base building is closely tied to the creature system. Pals have different work abilities that let them mine, plant crops, transport materials, generate electricity, craft items, cook, and perform other jobs automatically. Players can breed Pals to produce offspring with inherited characteristics, strengthen favored Pals through condensation and other progression systems, and use the later Awakening and Mutation systems to pursue stronger combinations.

Progression also includes technology unlocks, equipment crafting, boss encounters, dungeons, expeditions, fishing, arena battles, raid bosses, and missions that lead toward the World Tree. Multiplayer groups can explore, build, and fight together, while supported dedicated servers provide persistent shared worlds for larger communities.
