COSM-GAME Once Human
Once Human is a multiplayer open-world survival game set in Nalcott after Stardust contamination transformed people, wildlife, objects, and the environment. Players control a survivor who can withstand and use Stardust, then scavenge resources, manage survival needs, craft weapons, and build a territory that can be relocated as exploration expands. Strange creatures called Deviations can be captured and assigned to combat or base work, while cooperative expeditions, bosses, and PvP scenarios change how each server is played. Weapon blueprints, Mods, character progression, and scenario-based progression shape the longer-term survival loop.

Version 3.0.5 is the current live version of Once Human. The update went live following the September 2, 2026 PT maintenance and adds Storage Search, upgrades the Fashion Dye system, introduces Portable Crafting in RaidZone, and improves the rules for continuous Meta Pass activation. Subsequent 3.0.5 fixes have also addressed issues affecting monthly challenge progress, shop previews, console interfaces, and other gameplay systems.
Release date and status
Once Human first launched globally on Windows PC on July 9, 2024. Android and iOS / iPadOS followed with the worldwide mobile launch on April 24, 2025 UTC. PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S officially launched on August 25, 2026, completing the current PC, mobile, and console platform rollout.

Platforms and availability
Once Human is available on PC, Android, iOS / iPadOS, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S. PC access includes the official launcher, Steam, Epic Games Store, Google Play Games on PC, and the Xbox version through Xbox Play Anywhere. Mobile downloads use Google Play and the App Store, while console players can use PlayStation Store or Xbox Store.
Cross-platform play and cross-progression are supported across the live PC, mobile, PlayStation, and Xbox versions when the applicable accounts are linked. Regional server groups remain separate, so players in different server regions cannot play together or share regional character data.
Gameplay and setting
Players explore Nalcott, gather resources, craft weapons and equipment, construct territories, capture Deviations, and fight Stardust-altered creatures. Scenario servers change maps, objectives, and rules across cooperative PvE, competitive PvP, and RaidZone structures, while players can switch between first-person and third-person perspectives.
The player is a survivor capable of resisting and using Stardust after the Starfall transformed the world. Nalcott's settlements, factions, anomalies, and aberrations frame the ongoing mystery, while each scenario supplies its own objectives, server rules, and progression structure.

The console release trailer presents territory construction, open-world expeditions, Deviant companions, large aberrations and first-person combat. The screenshots cover the same survival systems across exploration, building, encounters and multiplayer scenarios.
Developer and publisher
Starry Studio develops Once Human and co-publishes the Steam edition with NetEase Games. NetEase Interactive Entertainment publishes the Apple, PlayStation and Xbox editions, while Google Play lists Exptional Global for Android.

Download and availability
Windows players can install Once Human through the official PC launcher, Steam, Epic Games Store, Google Play Games on PC, or Xbox through Xbox Play Anywhere. Android and iOS / iPadOS use Google Play and the App Store. PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S versions are available through their respective console stores, and eligible Xbox Game Pass plans also provide Xbox Cloud Gaming access.

Once Human publishes native Windows specifications through its PC storefronts, while Google Play Games on PC has a separate client requirement for its Windows access route.
