ELDEN RING NIGHTREIGN
ELDEN RING NIGHTREIGN is a standalone session-based action RPG set in a parallel world within the ELDEN RING universe. Players choose a Nightfarer with fixed abilities and enter Limveld alone or with a three-player team, racing through a three-day expedition while gathering weapons, runes, levels, and temporary advantages before the Night's Tide closes the playable area. Each night ends with a boss battle, while surviving the third day leads to a Nightlord confrontation. Runs continually remix enemies, loot, landmarks, and other conditions, while permanent Relics, character Remembrances, Deep of Night progression, Shifting Earth events, and The Forsaken Hollows DLC expand the long-term progression.

Gameplay and setting
Each expedition sends one to three Nightfarers into Limveld at level 1 and compresses progression into a three-day survival run. Players defeat enemies for runes, visit Sites of Grace to level up, search castles, camps, churches, forts, and other landmarks for equipment, and make rapid decisions before the Night's Tide closes the safe area. A boss appears at the end of each of the first two nights, followed by the selected Nightlord on the third night. Weapons carry passive effects that can benefit a build even when they are not actively held, while each Nightfarer has a unique Character Skill, Ultimate Art, attributes, and combat role. Defeated expeditions still contribute to longer-term progression through Relics and character Remembrances. Later additions include Deep of Night, enhanced Everdark Sovereigns, and The Forsaken Hollows, which adds Scholar, Undertaker, new bosses, and The Great Hollows Shifting Earth.
