Illusion Connect: Re returns to a dream-filled world where players lead a team of Radiants against supernatural Nightmares. Battles unfold in real time, with players directing characters, adjusting formations, and combining abilities to overcome enemy teams. Outside combat, players collect and strengthen a large roster, build relationships with companions, and decorate a personal Dream Home. The free-to-play game also includes story content, competitive modes, and recurring live-service events that continue expanding its roster and progression systems.

As of September 10, 2026, the newest official storefront promotion for Illusion Connect: Re is "21g Letter: Stitch or Burn", featuring Dumais and Jason. The current live-service cycle also follows the Deep-Sea update, which introduced Elementium Rank progression, Ares' Battlefield S1, SSR Elena, and the Shallow Dream Reef Ballad content.
Release date and status
Illusion Connect: Re launched globally on June 4, 2026 for iOS and Android. This is a revival of the original Illusion Connect, which initially launched in October 2020 and ended service on December 29, 2022. The relaunch is operated by Sugargame Network Limited, a new publisher that took over from the original operator. The game is currently live and receiving regular updates.

Platforms and availability
Illusion Connect: Re is available on Android and iOS / iPadOS. Windows PC players also have an official access route through Google Play Games on PC, so PC play is no longer limited to third-party Android emulators.
Gameplay and setting
Illusion Connect: Re uses real-time tactical battles in which players direct teams of Radiants against Nightmares, adjust formations during combat, and combine character abilities to control the battlefield. Team building draws from a roster of more than 130 characters with different roles and abilities. Outside battle, players can strengthen relationships with companions and decorate a personal Dream Home, while story and competitive modes provide additional progression.

Developer and publisher
Illusion Connect: Re is developed by Superprism Technology and published by Sugargame Network Limited (Hong Kong). The original Illusion Connect launched in 2020 under a different publisher before ending service in 2022. Sugargame Network, which launched its flagship title Magic Forest: Dragon Quest in late 2025, now operates the revived version.
