Version 1.8 launched June 25, 2026 with cross-platform saves, paid Bounty Pack 3: A Zane to Kill For and the free Takedown at Hadron Abyss. Takedown at Hadron Abyss requires completion of the main story campaign. Cross-platform saves use SHiFT to move save progress between owned platform versions, but SHiFT code rewards such as Golden Keys do not transfer as part of the save move. Version 1.9 and Bounty Pack 4: Murders & Acquisitions are officially scheduled for July 30.

The campaign unfolds on Kairos, a planet ruled by the Timekeeper. Vault Hunters explore regions, fight factions and bosses, collect loot and fuel a wider revolution. The confirmed setting is Kairos.
