COSM-GAME ARC Raiders
ARC Raiders is an online third-person extraction adventure where you play a Raider scavenging a future Earth overrun by hostile machines known as ARC. Each run sends you from the underground settlement of Speranza to the surface, where you search for valuable gear and materials while dealing with machines and other players, then try to extract safely before losing what you carried. Back in Speranza, recovered resources can be used to craft, repair, and upgrade equipment, complete quests, and develop your Raider's skills. You can venture out alone or in a squad of up to three, with cross-platform multiplayer linking PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S.

Latest update
The current release is Live Update 1.45.0, published September 8, 2026. It introduced the Ascending the Mountain Raider Project, began the fifth Expedition, started the transition away from the Cred currency ahead of Frozen Trail, and upgraded the game from Unreal Engine 5.3 to 5.7 alongside stability and gameplay fixes. Embark describes 1.45.0 as the final Live Update before the October 8 Frozen Trail release, although a smaller update is still planned before then.
Release date and status
ARC Raiders released worldwide on October 30, 2025 for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S. The three platform families launched as part of the same Global release rather than through a later staggered console rollout.

Platforms and availability
ARC Raiders is available on PC through Steam and the Epic Games Store, on PlayStation 5, and on Xbox Series X/S. Cross-platform social play connects PlayStation, Xbox, and PC players. The Xbox Store release supports Xbox Play Anywhere, allowing that purchase to be used on supported Windows PCs and Xbox Series X/S. PlayStation 4 and Xbox One are not supported.
Gameplay and setting
Each raid begins with a trip from the underground settlement of Speranza to the surface of the Rust Belt. Players search buildings and outdoor areas for weapons, equipment, crafting materials, and other valuables while hostile ARC machines and rival Raiders occupy the same maps. Surviving long enough to reach an extraction point lets the player keep the recovered loot; failing to extract risks losing equipment carried into the raid.
Between raids, resources can be sold, crafted, repaired, or used to upgrade the Workshop and improve equipment. Experience awards skill points across Survival, Mobility, and Conditioning paths, while quests from Speranza's Traders, Trials, Expedition projects, the Codex, map conditions, and other long-term systems provide additional progression. Players can enter alone or in squads of up to three. Optional in-game purchases use Raider Tokens for cosmetic content and related rewards rather than replacing the game's premium purchase model.

The selected launch trailer provides a broad look at scavenging, combat, the Rust Belt, and ARC machines. The gallery also covers Riven Tides, the ARC Turbine, Beachcombing, Raider customization, and the frozen settlement previewed for the upcoming Frozen Trail update.

ARC Raiders is developed and published globally by Embark Studios. Current Steam and Xbox storefront credits list Embark Studios in both roles, so Nexon is not retained as a second Global publisher in the Game Profile taxonomy.

Download and availability
PC players can buy ARC Raiders through Steam or the Epic Games Store. PlayStation 5 players can obtain it through PlayStation Store, while Xbox Series X/S and supported Windows PC users can access the Xbox Store version with Xbox Play Anywhere. Cloud streaming is also supported through NVIDIA GeForce NOW, PlayStation cloud streaming for eligible PlayStation Plus Premium users on PS5 and PS Portal, and Xbox Cloud Gaming for eligible Game Pass members who own the game.

ARC Raiders publishes official Minimum and Recommended specifications for PC. Every version requires an internet connection, an Embark ID account for players aged 13 or older, a third-party platform account, and acceptance of Embark's Terms of Service and End User License Agreement. PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S use fixed console hardware and require their applicable online multiplayer access.
