Bellring Games' July 24, 2026 DevNote #7 details the launch build's performance work, including shader-precompilation stutter fixes, hardware-specific graphics defaults, console and low-end PC tuning, 2K and 4K display adaptation, and reduced combat micro-stutters. Mistfall Hunter releases through Steam, Xbox on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S with cross-platform matchmaking. Xbox Play Anywhere and day-one Xbox Game Pass access are confirmed, while the PS5 version is PS5 Pro Enhanced.
Gameplay overview
Mistfall Hunter is a third-person PvPvE extraction action RPG where players enter the mist alone or in a three-player squad, fight monsters and rival Gyldhunters, collect gear and Gyldenblood, and escape through a Returner Woodling. Dying before extraction removes the loot carried into the hunt.
Story, setting, or main mode
The gods have fallen and the Gyldenmist is consuming Weavereach. A mysterious girl named Dew revives the player as a Gyldhunter and sends them to gather Gyldenblood, restore the broken Web of Fate and return hope to the surviving world.
