Aniimo

On September 3, 2026, Pawprint Studio published its final major pre-launch development letter and confirmed that Aniimo will launch worldwide on PC, consoles, and Xbox cloud gaming on September 16, followed by mobile on September 23. The studio also detailed changes already incorporated into the launch version, including a redesigned Irisalis encounter, revised Prismana and Wild Surge systems, simplified Aniimo training, an expanded Home, improved mobile and controller input, and a substantially revised Operation: Egg Heist with additional egg types and a higher-difficulty Chaos Mode.

Aniimo is built around exploring Idyll as a Pathfinder and discovering creatures that behave differently according to their species, habitat, weather, and surrounding conditions. Players capture them with Aniipods, raise and evolve them, research their behavior through the Aniilog, and use their abilities in real-time combat. The central Twine mechanic lets the Pathfinder essentially become a collected Aniimo, directly controlling its abilities to fight, solve environmental puzzles, glide, swim, burrow, and reach places the human character cannot access in the same way.

The open world supports both solo and multiplayer play. Operation: Egg Heist sends three-player teams into the Lost Isles for PvEvP searches and battles, while other activities include competitive encounters, research, exploration, creature development, and Holo-Battle Interlink. Outside expeditions, each Pathfinder has an RV and can return to Homeland to grow crops, construct and decorate spaces, interact with Aniimo, and meet other players.
