ANANTA

At gamescom Opening Night Live on August 25, 2026, NetEase Games and Naked Rain confirmed that ANANTA will launch globally on January 15, 2027, and pre-registration opened the same day across the official site, Steam, the PlayStation Store, the App Store and Google Play. The announcement trailer revealed Chongxiao, the game's second explorable city alongside Nova City, and NetEase stated the game had passed 17 million pre-registrations across 110 countries and regions. NVIDIA also confirmed on the same day that ANANTA launches with DLSS 4.5 support and ray-traced effects.

ANANTA is an urban open-world action RPG set across two anime-style cities: the coastal metropolis Nova City and the eastern city Chongxiao, which draws inspiration from Shanghai, Hangzhou and Tokyo. You play as the Captain, an agent of the A.C.D., the Anti-Chaos Directorate, a peacekeeping agency that handles supernatural disturbances called Chaos, while rebuilding the agency and searching for your missing father. Fame is the core progression system: completing story missions, bounties, side quests and small city interactions such as selfies builds your reputation, and rising influence unlocks new missions, resources and perks. You can switch between recruited agents, each with their own perspective and abilities, and befriend the city's more than 100 individual NPCs to recruit them into your squad. Traversal mixes cars, motorcycles, skateboards, subways, boats, yachts, helicopters, hang gliders and flying cars. Combat is built on real-world martial arts and high interactivity, letting you use terrain and everyday objects, from guitars to trash bins, as weapons, disarm enemies and use their gear against them. Beyond the main story, the cities offer gyms, mahjong parlors, cafes, cinemas, arcades, hot springs and minigames.
