Orange Hanbok Pikachu Comes to South Korea
Pokémon GO is adding Orange Hanbok Pikachu through the 2026 Pikachu's Autumn Outing event in South Korea. The first event runs from September 18 at 10:00 a.m. KST to October 11 at 8:00 p.m. KST in parts of Jongno-gu and Jung-gu in Seoul and at the HiKR Station in Incheon International Airport. During that window, you can find the costume Pikachu in 1-Star Raid Battles, Timed Research, and Field Research rewards.
Note: In the local event area, the Orange Hanbok Pikachu raid can be entered only once per day at each participating Gym, and Remote Raid Passes cannot be used.
What the Local Event Includes
The event area uses themed map effects and extends Lure Module duration to two hours. Fifteen designated Gyms will host 1-Star Raid Battles with Orange Hanbok Pikachu. Free Timed Research from the Seoul HiKR Ground area and the Incheon International Airport HiKR Station rewards 2,026 XP, an encounter with Orange Hanbok Pikachu, one Premium Battle Pass, and event themed stickers.
Field Research from PokéStops in the event area can also reward an Orange Hanbok Pikachu encounter, an encounter with a themed Pokémon, and Stardust. Timed Research for both Korea events expires on October 11, 2026 at 8:00 p.m. KST.
A Nationwide Follow-Up Event Starts on September 24
Pokémon GO will follow the local celebration with 2026 Pikachu's Korea Trip, which runs across South Korea from September 24 at 10:00 a.m. KST to September 26 at 8:00 p.m. KST. During this second event, Orange Hanbok Pikachu appears in 1-Star Raid Battles nationwide and a free Timed Research line rewards 4,500 XP, one Premium Battle Pass, 5,500 Stardust, an encounter with the costume Pikachu, and more.
