Gameplay overview
Players split time between student life and Phantom Thief missions. Combat is turn-based, with Persona skills, character teams, Palaces and Mementos exploration. Confirmed gameplay information includes student life in Tokyo, social relationships, Palace and Mementos exploration, turn-based Persona combat, and character collection and upgrades.
Story, setting, or main mode
The story follows a new protagonist in modern Tokyo. Everyday activities and social relationships sit alongside Metaverse exploration and battles against hostile Shadows. That premise sits within the game’s RPG, Turn-Based RPG, and Social Simulation structure, so story context is kept separate from the mechanics and mode details covered in the gameplay section.
