Persona5: The Phantom X is ATLUS, SEGA, and Perfect World’s free-to-play heart-changing heist RPG — a double life of Tokyo school activities and Metaverse missions. It launched globally on June 26, 2025 for PC, iPhone, iPad, and Android, and Version 4.5 is live with Haunted Beach Shack and Beachflower Minami.

SEGA’s Version 4.5 is live from July 16, 2026. It adds Haunted Beach Shack: The Curse of Shirosato Beach, Beachflower Minami, Marian’s Special Missions, Revelation Card sub-attribute customization, Minami Miyashita’s Synergy story, and a six-day login bonus worth seven Platinum Tickets.
SEGA’s July 18 issue notice confirms that the incorrectly worded Beach Shack Business mission was fixed; several event-display, recommended-party, animation, and Synergy conversation issues remain listed for later updates.

Gameplay overview
Players balance school life, clubs, part-time jobs, city activities, and Synergy relationships with Palace infiltration, Mementos exploration, Persona development, character collection, and stylish turn-based battles. Weapons, Personas, Phantom Thief roles, and Revelation Cards shape each team’s combat setup.
Story, setting, or main mode
Wonder is a second-year student living in Tokyo when visions of a ruinous future lead him into the Metaverse with Lufel and other new Phantom Thieves. Their objective is to recover desires stolen from a world losing its hope while confronting Shadows, Palace rulers, and the mysteries of the Velvet Room.
