Global and SEA use separate services, so a code issued for one should not be assumed to work on the other. Global in-game Exchange Codes can be entered only through the PC version, while Global Present Codes use the official web store and SEA Redemption Codes use the SEA in-game menu.
If a Global Present Code is rejected, check its capitalization because the official store treats Present Codes as case-sensitive. A promotion can also have its own expiry date or usage limit, so the conditions attached to the specific distribution always take priority.
