Lord of Mysteries

In June 2026, SPARK NEXA expanded its Global-facing pre-release material with a gameplay showcase covering character creation, real-time combat, open-world traversal, cooperative boss encounters, and large multiplayer activity. The Global release is still forthcoming, with no announced Global date, window, or acquisition route.

Lord of Mysteries uses the novel's supernatural progression system instead of conventional MMO classes. Players become Beyonders and choose a Pathway, a route that determines the type of supernatural abilities they develop. Each Pathway is divided into Sequences, which represent progressively stronger stages of power. SPARK NEXA has built the wider system around the source material's 22 Pathways, although the exact selection intended for the Global launch has not been announced.

Progression also uses the Acting Method. Rather than advancing only through combat or repeated dungeon runs, players are encouraged to behave according to the role represented by their current Sequence. Pathway abilities can affect combat as well as exploration and interactions with the environment or non-player characters, such as using divination to investigate choices or supernatural influence to bypass an obstacle.

The playable world begins around Tingen, a gaslit city where ordinary urban life exists beside occult organizations, supernatural incidents, churches, secret societies, and dangerous creatures. The game combines a player-specific Beyonder journey with adapted story material centered on Klein Moretti. Exploration, solo narrative content, cooperative encounters, dungeons, raids, competitive combat, and large multiplayer battles are all part of the broader game design.
