Saroasis Studios ended Fate Trigger's Steam Next Fest playtest on March 2, 2026, took every server offline and wiped the test data.
The development lead then confirmed on March 31 that Early Access would not launch in the originally planned first quarter. Steam currently lists a 2026 release window without an exact date.

Platforms and availability
Current first-party store pages support Windows PC and PlayStation 5 wishlisting. The wider announced platform plan also covers Xbox Series X/S, Android and iOS, while exact launch timing and store availability for those versions remain unannounced.
Gameplay overview
Fate Trigger is a third-person hero shooter built around anime-style Awakeners with distinct movement, defensive, scouting and offensive abilities. Squads combine hero powers with firearms, gear scavenging and tactical positioning.
Steam describes Battle Royale, team point-defense and shrinking-zone trials, alongside respawn and transfer systems, weapon customization through Gun-Chips, short time-to-kill combat and cross-platform multiplayer.
Story, setting, or main mode
Players become Awakeners fighting across the Helix Airena and a world of floating islands. The current premise sends these chosen warriors into repeated life-or-death trials while they uncover the secrets behind the transformed world.

Epic Games' official Fate Trigger trailer introduces the Awakeners, floating arenas and ability-driven gunfights. Saroasis Studios' Steam media adds tactical combat, squad action and cinematic views of the science-fantasy setting.

Download and availability
