Fate Trigger
Fate Trigger is a free-to-play multiplayer third-person tactical shooter developed and published by Saroasis Studios. Players select from a roster of anime-style heroes called Awakeners and compete in large-scale battles on floating islands. Progression centers on mastering unique hero skills, scavenging and crafting weapons, and surviving high-stakes matches. Latest update
As of August 2026, Fate Trigger remains in active development. Early Access for PC and PS5, originally planned for Q1 2026, was delayed in March 2026 after evaluation of Steam Next Fest and prior playtest feedback. The team is refining existing content and developing a new large-scale game mode. Playtests continue periodically, including PS5 cross-play tests earlier in the year.
Release date and status
Fate Trigger is upcoming. Steam currently lists a 2026 release window. No firm Early Access or full launch date has been confirmed following the March 2026 roadmap adjustment. The game is in the pre-release phase with ongoing playtests and wishlist campaigns.
