Delta Force

By ·Published Jul 12, 2026·Updated Aug 20, 2026·Official sources verified

Delta Force is a free-to-play tactical shooter developed by Team Jade and published by TiMi Studio Group. Players control customizable Operators drawn from four combat classes, Assault, Support, Engineer, and Recon, each built around a distinct set of tactical gadgets. The objective changes with the mode: dominate rival squads in large-scale Warfare combat, or infiltrate hostile territory with a three-person squad to loot valuables and extract safely in Operations. The game is anchored by an extensive weapon and vehicle customization system that lets Operators rebuild real-world firearms, boats, tanks, and helicopters piece by piece for every mission.

Platforms and availability

Delta Force is playable on PC, Android, iOS / iPadOS, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S. Outside of Southeast Asia, Taiwan, Latin America, and MENA, the game is published and operated directly by TiMi Studio Group through its own site and storefronts. In those regions, Garena operates a separate client and community portal for the same game. Crossplay between PC and consoles is enabled by default and can be turned off, while mobile players matchmake separately even though their progress still syncs with other platforms.

Gameplay and setting

Delta Force centers on two core multiplayer modes. Warfare is a large-scale, class-based combined-arms battle fought with tanks, boats, and helicopters across land, sea, and air. Operations is a squad-based extraction shooter in which a three-person team explores a map, loots valuables, fights rival squads and AI mercenaries, and must reach an extraction point to keep what they found; a PvE Raid variant offers scripted objective missions for players who want to avoid other squads. Alongside the multiplayer modes, the free Black Hawk Down campaign lets players take on the role of Task Force Ranger operators in a single-player and co-op retelling of the 1993 Battle of Mogadishu. The wider multiplayer story is set in 2035 in the fictional country of Ahsarah, where the peacekeeping Global Threat Initiative is caught between the corporation Haavk and the nationalist Ahsarah Guard.

FAQ

Is Delta Force free to play?
Yes. Delta Force is free-to-play on every supported platform, with optional cosmetic in-app purchases. The developer describes the game as no pay-to-win, and all core modes, including the Black Hawk Down campaign, are included at no cost.
Does Delta Force support crossplay and cross-progression?
Crossplay between PC and consoles is on by default and can be toggled off in console settings, while mobile matchmaking stays separate from PC and console. Cross-progression works across all platforms once a Level Infinite Pass account is linked, syncing Operators, skins, and Battle Pass rewards.
Do I need a separate account to play Delta Force?
Yes. The game requires a Level Infinite Pass (LIPASS) account, which can be linked to a Steam, Discord, Gmail, or Facebook login. Linking LIPASS before playing on a new platform is required for progress to carry over.
Is the Black Hawk Down campaign a separate purchase?
No. The single-player and co-op campaign, based on the 2001 film and the 2003 Delta Force: Black Hawk Down game, is available as a free add-on alongside the main game on Steam and other storefronts.
Why do players in Indonesia and Southeast Asia see a different Delta Force website?
Garena publishes Delta Force separately across Southeast Asia, Taiwan, Latin America, and MENA through its own portal and client, while TiMi Studio Group publishes and operates the game directly everywhere else, including the main playdeltaforce.com site and storefronts.
Is Delta Force available on PlayStation 4 or Xbox One?
No. The console release covers PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S only; no last-generation console version has been released or announced.
Does Delta Force run on Steam Deck?
Valve's own compatibility check currently lists Delta Force as unsupported on Steam Deck and SteamOS, since the game's kernel-level Anti-Cheat Expert (ACE) software does not run under Proton.
How large is the Delta Force download?
Download size varies by platform: the Steam listing requires 88 GB of free space, the Xbox Series X/S version is about 97.84 GB, and the PlayStation 5 version is about 111.6 GB, based on each storefront's own listing.
