Etheria: Restart is XD’s free-to-play turn-based strategy RPG — build Animus squads for story, PvE and competitive Arena battles. It launched on Android, iPhone, iPad and XD’s PC client on June 5, 2025, with Steam following on October 23, 2025. SS5.3 is current as of July 22, 2026.

SS5.3 went live July 22, 2026. XD’s patch notes add Apex SSR Piayera and Anima SSR Danvery to limited and permanent summons, alongside Prowess Up events and the Kethos rerun beginning July 29.

Platforms and availability
The released version covers PC, Android and iOS / iPadOS. PC players can use XD’s launcher or Steam; XD does not currently list a PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo or macOS edition.
Gameplay overview
Players build Animus squads for turn-based battles, combining abilities and controlling turn order. Progression branches through Prowess, Shell gear and Ether Modules, while PvE includes the Main Quest, Threshold, GP Outposts, Investigations and Ember ruins alongside Arena PvP and online co-op.
Story, setting, or main mode
A global freeze forces humanity to transfer its consciousness into Etheria. When the Genesis Virus corrupts Animus, the player joins the Hyperlinker Union and investigates the virtual metropolis while containing the outbreak.

XD’s launch PV introduces Etheria’s virtual city, Animus cast and turn-based battles. The store and game-site images cover squad combat, Arena competition, progression systems and the frozen-world setting.
