Epic Seven
Epic Seven is a free-to-play role-playing game about collecting characters, called Heroes, and sending four of them at a time into turn-based battles where each side acts in order instead of in real time. You follow Ras, an artificial guardian created by a goddess to protect the world of Orbis, through a story told in animated cutscenes and in fully drawn attack animations that play out like scenes from a cartoon. Between story chapters most of the time goes into strengthening the roster, which means levelling Heroes, hunting for better equipment, and drawing new characters from summon banners. The competitive half of the game runs alongside it, with ranked ladders and drafted matches where both players pick and ban Heroes before the fight starts.

Platforms and availability
Epic Seven supports PC, Android, iOS / iPadOS, and compatible Apple silicon Macs.
Native Windows players can install Epic Seven through the official STOVE PC Client. Google also provides an official Google Play Games on PC route for the Android edition, allowing compatible Windows systems to run the Google Play version.
The Steam edition is still upcoming. Its store page requires a third-party STOVE account, supports linking that account to Steam, and uses UNCHEATER anti-cheat software.
Android players use Google Play, while iPhone and iPad users use Apple's App Store. The App Store also lists the iPad-designed application as compatible with Apple silicon Macs running macOS 12.0 or later.
Mainland China uses a separately published regional version operated with ZLONGAME. Its service, account environment, distribution, and regional publishing should not be treated as identical to the global client.
Gameplay and setting
Epic Seven is built around collecting Heroes and assembling four-character teams for turn-based combat. Heroes have elemental relationships, classes, skill kits, passive effects, debuffs, buffs, Combat Readiness interactions, and different equipment priorities.
Equipment development allows players to combine different sets and substats according to a Hero's role. Current systems include traditional sets alongside Reversal, Riposte, Warfare, and Pursuit sets, which are now obtainable through Ogre's Armory Hunt.
Artifacts provide class-linked passive effects, while Exclusive Equipment can further modify selected Heroes. Hero growth also uses Awakening, Memory Imprint, skill enhancement, promotion, gear enhancement, and other long-term progression resources.
Hero acquisition includes Covenant Summon, Moonlight Summon, Mystic Summon, limited banners, event rewards, recruitment systems, and other special Summon pools. Resources include Covenant Bookmarks, Mystic Medals, Galaxy Bookmarks, Skystone, Gold Transmit Stones, and related currencies.
PvE content includes main Episodes, Side Episodes, Hunt, Ogre's Armory, Abyss, Raid Labyrinth, World Boss, Expedition, Strategic Archive, Trial of the Constellations, and recurring seasonal activities.
Background Battling improves long-term farming by allowing eligible repeated battles to continue while the player is logged out. The system requires a previously completed run with a Battle Pet equipped and uses the recorded clear time to determine progression speed.
Competitive play includes Arena, Guild Wars, and World Arena. World Arena uses real-time Ban Pick drafting where players attempt to predict the opponent's composition before the battle begins.
The Call of Chaos adds a different 3v3 structure. A Sentinel occupies the back row and becomes the true victory target. Heroes can revive while their Sentinel remains intact, and players select Fate effects during combat to alter the strength and behavior of their team.
The main story follows Ras, the Heir of the Covenant, created by the Goddess Diche to protect Orbis. Later Episodes and Side Episodes broaden the narrative through other civilizations, eras, Heroes, and conflicts. Paradise Lost expands Kayron's history through Kain, Lisette, Politis, and the deeper layers of the Abyss.
