Duet Night Abyss

The current build is Version 1.5, "Paradise Prelude," released July 28, 2026. It adds the Hydro character Ada, a High Priestess whose kit centers on Summon and Copy abilities, along with new weapons including the dual pistols The Best Day, the pistol Sanguis Sanctus, the polearm Obsidian Heart-Reaper, and the calamity greatsword Sovereign Ember. The update also introduced new side stories tied to Bloomfield Station and a run of summer-themed events and cosmetics.

Combat blends hack-and-slash melee with third-person shooting, letting each character carry one melee and one ranged weapon that can be swapped mid-fight. An aerial traversal move called Helix Leap supports fast movement between ground and air attacks. Characters and weapons are upgraded through Demon Wedges, a socketed modifier system, and players can recruit other characters as AI companions or team up through online co-op modes such as Immersive Theatre and Nocturnal Echoes. Every character and weapon is earned through play rather than gacha pulls, using a currency called Secret Letters. The story takes place on Atlasia, a continent where magic and machinery coexist, and follows two protagonists, the Phoxhunter and a second lead revealed later in the story, whose separate journeys through regions such as Icelake and Huaxu gradually intersect as they investigate the shape-shifting Demons of a Hundred Faces.
