Duet Night Abyss

Duet Night Abyss is Pan Studio's free-to-play fantasy action RPG — two protagonists switch between melee and ranged weapons while uncovering linked stories about Demons. It has been out on the original PC, iPhone, iPad and Android clients since October 28, 2025, with Steam following on January 19, 2026.

Pan Studio released Version 1.4.0, Silver Torrent, Rising Star, on June 2, 2026. The chapter adds Flora and Hilda, five weapons, Noctoyager Arc Chapter 3, three side stories, Flodia Bloomfield Station and its Ironworks, the Calamity Weapon system, Ensemble Act co-op challenges and new version events.

Release date and status

Hero Games launched Duet Night Abyss globally on October 28, 2025 through the standalone Windows client, Epic Games Store, App Store and Google Play. The Steam edition followed on January 19, 2026, and Version 1.4.0 is the latest listed major update.

The released version covers Windows PC through the official launcher, Epic Games Store, Steam and Google Play Games on PC, plus iPhone, iPad and Android. Pan Studio's official download hub does not list a released console edition.

Gameplay overview

Characters can switch freely between melee and ranged weapons, combining hack-and-slash strings, gunfire, aerial attacks, ground takedowns and individual abilities. Character fragments, forging materials and Secret Letters support gameplay-based unlocking, while co-op activities, missions and build customization broaden progression.

Story, setting, or main mode

The story follows two protagonists from sharply different backgrounds across a continent where magic and machinery coexist. Their separate journeys involve exile, political conspiracies and encounters with Demons before their paths converge around the repeating spiral of suffering; Version 1.4.0 continues that narrative in Icelake.

Duet Night Abyss is free to download with optional purchases. Pan Studio states that characters and weapons are unlockable through gameplay, while Myriad purchases and free summons focus on cosmetic appearances and related rewards.

Pan Studio's Version 1.4.0 notice publishes the current PC and mobile tiers below. The App Store separately confirms iPhone and iPad support and a 3.9 GB initial package, while the full mobile installation requires substantially more free storage.
