CookieRun: Kingdom

As of September 4, 2026, Version 7.8.001 is the current CookieRun: Kingdom client listed by Apple's App Store. The major live content update arrived on August 26 as Time Breakers: Fatal Fixers, continuing World Exploration: Timeline of Fate with Episode 9, Unofficial Futures.

The story follows an unofficial SCOOP operation created to prevent the collapse of the core timeline. Time Shadow Cookie, Pulpo Cookie, and Ovenhead Cookie are sent into the crisis as dangerous temporal criminals, with new episode mechanics including the Eye of Calamity surveillance effect and the Time Breakers Roadster Tactical Skill.

The update adds Time Shadow Cookie, a Super Epic Ambush Cookie whose Shadowplay skill applies Shadow Trick, Shadow Deception, Shadow Dominion, and related effects. Pulpo Cookie joins as an Epic Support Cookie whose All, Wrapped Up skill damages enemies, increases Darkness-type damage received, groups enemies, and applies Shackles.

Fire Spirit Cookie received the Orb of Eternal Flame Crystal Jam, Concentrated Fire Rally Effect, and a new Trial Grounds challenge. Version 7.8 also adds Silent Salt Cookie's Revenant of Faded Memories Legendary Costume, Shadowplay Resonant Toppings, new Icings, and a Guild Battle rotation that returns Avatar of Destiny.

Cookie Alliance received one of the update's largest system revisions. Required teams were reduced from five to three, five difficulty levels were consolidated into Easy, Hard, and Master, Artifacts were removed, Beacon of Valor was redesigned around selectable battle buffs, and guild contribution rewards were added.

Town Square, Mines, Call of Destiny, Legendary Topping Tarts, the Shop, Play Portal, and Hall of Ancient Heroes also received changes. Hall of Ancient Heroes now requires three Cookies per class for Skill Level Blessing instead of five and supports up to 40 Cookie slots.

The official August 26 notes state that Timeline of Fate Episode 10 will arrive in the next update. It is therefore not treated as live content in this profile as of September 4.

CookieRun: Kingdom combines team-based RPG combat with kingdom construction, resource production, collection, and account progression. Players recruit Cookies and form battle teams around Cookie classes, positions, Skills, elemental interactions, Treasures, Toppings, Beascuits, Magic Candies, Crystal Jams, promotion, Ascension, Awakening, and other upgrades.

Most combat runs automatically after a team is deployed, while Cookie Skills can be activated manually to control timing. Team formation, cooldown management, healing, buffs, debuffs, damage types, survivability, and the interaction between Cookie Skills remain central to difficult PvE and competitive battles.

World Exploration now spans major story regions including Crispia, Beast-Yeast, and Timeline of Fate. Timeline of Fate explores fractured timelines involving Timekeeper Cookie, SCOOP, the Ultimate Oven, Tartrus of Oblivion, and the current Time Breakers: Fatal Fixers storyline.

Long-running battle content includes Kingdom Arena, Guild Battle, Cookie Alliance, Arcade Arena, Super Mayhem, Trial Grounds, Trials of the Nether Realm, Duel of Destiny, raids, Tropical Soda Islands, and other seasonal activities. Different modes can modify team-building rules and temporarily change which progression bonuses apply.

Account growth also extends far beyond combat. Players construct and decorate a kingdom, produce materials and goods, improve landmarks and the Sugar Gnome Laboratory, manage resources, join guilds, collect relics, use Kingdom Affairs, develop Cookie Bonds and Star Collection bonuses, and interact through CookieChat and Town Square systems.

Version 7.8 expands older systems through the redesigned Cookie Alliance, an updated Hall of Ancient Heroes, Mine quality-of-life improvements, and Call of Destiny, which consolidates major Cookie acquisition and progression events such as Might of the Ancients and Dominion of the Beasts while adding Power of Darkness for Witch Cookies.
