Clash Royale
Clash Royale is Supercell's free-to-play real-time strategy and card-battling game — players build eight-card decks, manage Elixir and destroy opposing Crown Towers in live matches. It has been out on iPhone, iPad and Android since March 2, 2016, with Windows access also available through Google Play Games on PC.
Latest update
Supercell lowered Clash Royale's Ranked entry requirement to 13,000 Trophies on July 14, 2026. The requirement stays at 13,000 through August, rises to 13,500 for September and October, and returns to 14,000 in November; Honor & Exile remains the current season with Ronin, Choice Chests and C.H.A.O.S Season 2.

Supercell released Clash Royale worldwide for iPhone, iPad and Android on March 2, 2016. It remains an actively supported free-to-play multiplayer game, with official Windows access now available through Google Play Games on PC.

The released version is available through Apple's App Store for iPhone and iPad, Google Play for Android, and Google Play Games on supported Windows PCs. Progress can remain connected through Supercell ID, while every battle requires a network connection.
Gameplay overview
Players build an eight-card deck and spend regenerating Elixir to deploy troops, spells and buildings in real time. Destroying more Crown Towers wins the match, while Trophy Road, Ranked, Global Tournaments, challenges, seasonal modes and Clan Wars provide different competitive formats.
Story, setting, or main mode
Clash Royale has no story campaign; its main mode is short online tower battles set in Arenas populated by Clash characters. Progression comes from unlocking and upgrading cards, advancing through Arenas and Collection Levels, completing seasonal rewards and improving competitive ranks.

Download and availability
Clash Royale is free to download with optional purchases for Gems, passes, cosmetics and rotating offers. Apple's US listing currently includes a $0.99 Fistful of Gems and an $11.99 Diamond Pass, although store prices and bundles vary by platform and region.

Supercell Support publishes the mobile hardware floors, while Apple supplies the current package size and Google publishes separate Google Play Games on PC requirements. A stable network connection is required on every platform.
