Call of Duty: Mobile lets you sign out of one Facebook account and log in with another, but each account keeps its own game progress. Switching Facebook accounts does not move your existing progress, so confirm which Facebook login owns the profile you want before changing accounts.

Know what happens to your progress before switching Facebook accounts

Call of Duty: Mobile does not transfer your existing progress from one Facebook account to another. Activision states that your progress stays tied to the original account you used.

This means switching Facebook logins is useful when you already have a different Call of Duty: Mobile profile connected to another Facebook account. It is not a way to move your current profile to a new Facebook account.

Important: Before changing accounts, make sure you know which Facebook login owns the Call of Duty: Mobile progress you want. If you sign in with another Facebook account, the game can load different progress.

Remove Call of Duty: Mobile from the current Facebook session

1
Open the Facebook app on your device.
2
Open Settings.
3
Select Apps and Websites.
4
Select Call of Duty: Mobile.
5
Select Remove.

Activision includes this step in its official procedure for changing to another Facebook account.

Sign out of the old Facebook account everywhere

Log out of the current Facebook account in both places:

  • The Facebook app on your device
  • Your web browser

Do not leave the old Facebook session active in either place. Otherwise, the Facebook login screen can automatically return you to the same account.

Log out of Call of Duty: Mobile

1
Open Call of Duty: Mobile.
2
Tap Settings, shown as the gear icon at the top of the screen.
3
Open the Other tab.
4
Scroll to the bottom.
5
Select Logout beside your name.
6
Select OK.
7
Close Call of Duty: Mobile.

Log in with the other Facebook account

1
Relaunch Call of Duty: Mobile.
2
Stay on the login screen.
3
Tap the Facebook icon.
4
Sign in with the other Facebook account.
5
Complete the Facebook authorization if requested.

The game should now load the Call of Duty: Mobile profile associated with that Facebook login.

Check the profile before you continue playing

After the login completes, verify that the profile is the one you intended to open. Check details such as your player name, level, loadouts, unlocked items, and other familiar account progress.

If the profile is not the one you expected, do not assume the previous progress was transferred or deleted. Activision states that progress stays with the original login.

Switch back to the original Facebook progress

If you opened the wrong profile, repeat the same process:

1
Remove Call of Duty: Mobile from the active Facebook account under Settings > Apps and Websites.
2
Log out of Facebook in the app and browser.
3
Log out of Call of Duty: Mobile through Settings > Other > Logout.
4
Relaunch the game.
5
Select Facebook and sign back into the original Facebook account.

The original Facebook login should load the progress that belongs to that account.

If Facebook keeps opening the wrong account

  • Confirm that you logged out of the Facebook app.
  • Confirm that you logged out of Facebook in your browser.
  • Check Facebook > Settings > Apps and Websites and remove Call of Duty: Mobile from the active Facebook account.
  • Close Call of Duty: Mobile fully before relaunching it.
  • Use the Facebook button on the game login screen and manually sign in to the intended account.

If the expected profile still does not appear, use the official Call of Duty: Mobile support page rather than creating or overwriting another login.

FAQ

6 questions

No. Activision states that progress remains tied to the original account used. Logging in with another Facebook account does not transfer the original profile to that account.

Activision instructs players to remove Call of Duty: Mobile under Facebook Apps and Websites as part of switching accounts. The game progress remains associated with the original login rather than being transferred to the new Facebook account.

The old Facebook session may still be active in the Facebook app or browser. Activision instructs you to sign out of Facebook in both places before relaunching Call of Duty: Mobile.

Open Settings using the gear icon, select the Other tab, then select Logout beside your name at the bottom and confirm with OK.

Yes. Because the progress remains tied to the original Facebook account, repeat the account-switching process and log back into the Facebook account that originally owned that progress.

Activision provides an account-linking route for players already using a social login. From Call of Duty: Mobile, open Settings, select the linked social account button, choose Call of Duty, then sign in with the Call of Duty account you want to link.
