Gameplay and setting

Players create a fully customizable Hero and explore a living open-world Albion filled with peculiar characters, dark humour, and chickens. Combat weaves melee, ranged, and magical styles against bandits, beasts, and classic foes such as Hobbes, Balverines, and Trolls. Beyond combat, the game functions as a life sim where players can become landlords or blacksmiths, romance villagers, raise children, and build reputation. Every choice shapes relationships with NPCs and can alter the world. The story begins with the Hero of Briar Hill and features antagonists including Isabel (portrayed by Hayley Atwell) and the return of Jack of Blades. Fairytale endings are never guaranteed.
