Combat is largely automated: Luminaries attack on their own while the player manages team formation and times powerful Overdrive skills. Teams are built across front, middle, and back rows, with frontline Luminaries absorbing damage and backline Luminaries providing burst damage, healing, or buffs. New Luminaries are recruited through a gacha summoning system, and the idle Patrol system keeps generating experience, gold, and resources even while the player is offline.

The story is framed as a "Love x Comedy x Isekai" rom-com, following the dragon Fafnir and the sword-wielding princess Siegfried through short chapters as they investigate the three-headed dragon Ladon's threat to the kingdom of Midham, while an Affection system lets players build individual bonds with recruited Luminaries.
