Blue Archive 9/15 Update Adds Dress Students and Story

Blue Archive expands its current Lore Pursuit storyline on September 15 with two new Dress students, another Main Story chapter and a new Special Mission event. The same update cycle also schedules additional high-level battle content for the following days.

The September 15 maintenance is scheduled from 2:00 AM to 6:00 AM UTC. The new recruitments and Special Mission open after maintenance.

Mutsuki (Dress) and Haruka (Dress) are the two new 3-star students featured by the update. Each receives a Pick-Up Recruitment beginning after the September 15 maintenance and ending on September 29 at 1:59 AM UTC.

The recruitment period also brings back three existing Dress versions: Aru (Dress), Kayoko (Dress) and Saori (Dress). That puts five Dress students in the recruitment schedule during this update period, with Mutsuki and Haruka serving as the new additions.

The story update continues Main Story Act 2 Ex. Lore Pursuit with Chapter 2: What's Inside the Drum Barrel. The new chapter returns to Problem Solver 68's involvement in the Lore Pursuit storyline and brings the group into contact with an old enemy while revealing more about Haruka's past.

Chapter 2 arrives as part of the same September 15 update as Mutsuki (Dress) and Haruka (Dress), tying the new students directly to the current story cycle rather than releasing them as isolated recruitment additions.

Special Mission: Lore Pursuit also begins after the September 15 maintenance and runs through September 29 at 1:59 AM UTC. The event deals with Lore, an anomalous phenomenon spreading chaos through Kivotos.

SRT Academy's FOX Squad enters the affected haze while searching for an answer to the phenomenon. Sensei and the students become involved in the investigation as the event develops the same Lore Pursuit setting used by the current Main Story content.

This gives the September update both permanent story progression and a separate playable event period. The event timing also lines up with the new and returning Dress Pick-Up Recruitments.

The next scheduled combat addition arrives one day after the main update. The Fury of Set opens on September 16 as Final Restriction Release content.

This occurrence of The Fury of Set uses the Special Armor defense type. Players therefore have another combat activity to prepare for immediately after the September 15 story, event and recruitment content becomes available.

The update schedule continues on September 22 with Total Assault: Drumbarka. Its later start separates it from the first wave of September 15 content while keeping it within the same update period.

The result is a staggered schedule rather than a single-day content drop. September 15 brings the new Dress students, returning Dress recruitments, Lore Pursuit Chapter 2 and Special Mission: Lore Pursuit. The Fury of Set follows on September 16, then Drumbarka opens on September 22.
